Different anon here ~ are you able to handle your snake regularly (wow that sounds bad)? Like does he chill with you outside of his cage, or is he a pet you more just look at? I’ve read differing opinions from different snake mom blogs and I wanted your opinion 😅 love from a future snake mom!!
yeah definitely!! i wouldn’t handle a ball python every day cause it can stress them out (esp don’t handle them for a couple days after you feed them cause it can upset their digestion) but i take him out of his cage and handle him/let him roam around the room about 2 or 3 times a week, with supervision ofc. i feed my ball python inside his enclosure rather than feeding him in a separate bin, and in that case it’s good to handle them semi-often so they don’t always associate your hands with food
