Can You do a tutorial about how you draw?

Well, I’ll try my best to explain what i do, but do remember that I am still experimenting with digital art. But thank you for taking an interest.(and sorry, I only have pictures)

I use Medibang with a Monoprice 10x6.25 tablet on a pc

First I have a very basic sketch, I’m mostly only focusing on pose and anatomy.

I also sketch out the clothes on a different layer but after the sketches are all done, then comes lineart(the bane of my existence)

I usually do use the pen brush, but in this piece I decided to use the pencil brush. When doing lineart, it does help to have a steady hand and remember that sometimes you don’t have to follow your sketch perfectly.

Now, onto the coloring…

First i just lay down all the base colors, except the eyes (which is something I do for seemingly no reason.

I then lay down shadows on the skin and I blur it with the blur brush and add blush which is pretty minimal honestly

For the clothes, I use the same purple and set the layers to multiply and lower the opacity and I also blur it so it’s softer looking

Now the hair, my favorite part!

I like to use blue for dark hair but you can use different colors for different looking effects, i set it to multiply and lower the opacity a bit

I then use a lighter color of the hair and add a bit of squiggles right on the line where the shadow of the hair is. And then i use an even lighter color and add dots(at least for now, its always changing)

After this, the next things are optional. I like to add some lightings and effects, in this, I only have lighting. There are some areas where I blur the effect, but it’s not often.

And that’s basically it. I hope this made some sort of sense.
