Now here’s a moment of me rambling about this one I strongly dislike it but I’m moving and this idea wouldn’t stop rattling around in my brain so I drew it in a sorta speed run fashion over the past day (it took me like three days to actually start it) there are a few concepts I’ve been wanting to elaborate on that I implemented here.

When I heard The Ballad Of Lucy Gray somehow my brain immediately was like “hey ya know what would be sad?” And I was like :0 and I thought about it for ages and here we are (bonus points because I physically cannot get this song out of my head now as we speak I am packing and singing it)

I initially wasn’t gonna draw this at all and just let it rattle around in my head but “I know the soul that you struggle to save” really kinda sealed this one for me and because I have to be sad now YOU have to be sad

I was gonna draw the wound on Mind’s neck because that’s where I believe he was shot but I couldn’t get it to look right (I didn’t get it to look right here either) but this was the best bet to convey what happened. This was also my first time drawing a gunshot wound (I had to look up a reference sorry FBI agent🙃)

A lil hc for these designs, aside from their stars they glow independently but when they are injured the affected area dims as with the stars around it this concept has been with me ever since I started drawing them and is why I didn’t give soul his half and half deal though I’m rethinking that.

I wish Mind’s arm looked a bit different I think I’ll redraw him in short sleeves because with his arm I was going for an X-ray look along with the darkened gears to show that he does indeed have mechanical hands I don’t think I made it look as good as I could’ve.

This all came to be because I was gonna draw these three as Pokémon trainers (that did not happen) but I was gonna make Soul a psychic type trainer, Heart a fairy type trainer and Mind an electric type trainer (lol) I just really wanted to draw Soul w an Espeon ngl Dw btw that will happen.

Me when I remember how much I am a sucker for the silly lil idea of going through a game with a teacher at the beginning not understanding the lessons until you use them in combat aspects of the game and when you reach the final boss if you die one of the game tips is “remember what I taught you” as you suddenly realize that everything you were taught makes sense after all.

Something I have noticed is the lack of emotion in a lot of posts I’ve seen about Gaza. I think being professional in situations like this matters to get information out in a clear way but we need to keep in mind that we are whitenessing a genocide and that no one in Gaza is just a number or a statistic these are real people who are deserving of our compassion, activism and empathy. Think on that

Random idea while I was in the shower. Chikin Nuggit but it’s like TADC like Chikin unknowingly has all these real people trapped in this world and even they don’t know at this point because their reality is warped and the only ones who technically would know are the immortals like Bezel, Iscream and Fwench Fwy

It’s just a thought I had I have no idea how this logic would work I have not watched tadc I know the characters and that’s it my man
