Aaanyways I saw this questionnaire from toyhouse forum made by Skykristal. And I decided to fill it in for funsies!

Q1 : If you remember, how did you first find out about artfight?
I think i hear about it from twitter.... or even the longest, tumblr...? i feel like i've been familiar with people announcing themselves in an event that has color vs monochrome, spice vs sugar thing without actually knowing what event they were talking about..... i tried to backtrack my old posts and i saw i tweeted something like “i wanna try artfight” in 2020ish… but i only finally joined on 2023!
Q2 : How do you handle bookmarks? When and how many OCs do you bookmark at once? Do you clean them out?
i bookmark pretty freely! i put characters i find interesting that caught my interest, or I plan to draw sometime in the future. I cleared them out if i've attacked them.
Q3 : What is something that usually stops you from drawing a character?
Mostly when i feel i cant draw them justice or i dont really have ideas what to do with them! Plus a tinyy specific thing : when I see the user isn't ...actively replying to people when they get comments/attacked.....
Q4 : Have you ever attacked a user the following year again that wasn't a friend or mutual?
Yeah! As revenges tho, it happens they attacked me again in the following year :D
Q5 : Do you attack people more because of their art or their characters? Be brutally honest
Hmm, tricky question... I’d say both!
I usually pick characters that I find interesting or fun to draw. That said, the way someone draws their characters also matters. If I enjoy their artwork and how they present their OCs, it’s more likely to catch my interest to attack.
NGL, I do take a person's art into consideration sometimes. If someone has a really cool style, I get curious about how my OCs would look drawn by them 🤣 Even if they don't end up revenging, there is a chance we might click and become mutuals or friends later on. And honestly, that's how I've met a lot of awesome people since my first year on AF !
Q6 : Have you ever started a drawing but deleted it or continued with a different character instead because you lost interest or it didnt work out?
yeah yeah! plenty times! we love trial and errors hahaha
Q7 : Are your character profile images showing your own or other peoples art more?
it seems my character profiles has more of my art as their references this year! it means i'm happy with my drawings & draw a lot! (i used to struggle so much being not confident that i cant draw my ocs right like how i visioned them, sometimes people draw them better, thats why i used commissioned art instead as refs) proud of myself for that improvement 🥹
Q8 : Have you ever donated to artfight, or bought something from the merch shop? If so, what was it, and if merch, do you still have it?
I've considered last two years, but i haven't! And perhaps would be unable to do so in near future due to recent economy situation OTL
Q9 : Do you show character importance in your character names? (e.g. with hearts or other symbols)
i put a ⭐️ symbol to give mark that they come from the same story and allowed to be drawn together
Q10 : Is your favorite character your most attacked character?
If I remember correctly, Gracie a.k.a Allen still the top one most attacked character of mine.…happy for my girlie...
Q11 : How do you usually find and search targets? What places, strategies and activities do you like?
During my first year, I mostly browsed through tags. However, I eventually realized that method wasn't really suitable for me, since some characters I found interesting ended up belonging to users who were barely active or not participating at all.
Nowadays, I don't actively look for targets. Most of the time, if I see an attack or character that catches my eye; whether it's from a friend, mutual, or complete stranger's page-- I'll check out their profile and poke around their gallery. That's usually where I find my potential targets!
Q12 : What is the most common arttype you receive? (e.g. colored headshot, full scene, pixelart)
Hmmm they came with pretty various artstyle and finishes- but its commonly digital drawings and occasionally sketches/traditional art
Q13 : What do you typically like to attack people with? (same as above)
Colored digital drawings! With animations whenever I saw the chance to animate it. The body level and art approaches may vary because I experimented a lot....
Q14 : If there was a 100% guarantee you receive art back of your favorite character, who would you attack instantly? (you don't have to name drop, can be "person who does plushies" for example)
AHHHH i really want animation of my OCs.... so someone who can do 2D/3D/Pixel animations? That would be cool! i would love to see them come to life (despite being someone who animate alot, i rarely do things for my own OCs LOL) Also I love illustrations that have some interactivity (especially for multiple characters) or depicting a story in it. so I'd love aim for people that seem excel in that :eye emoji:
Q15 : How do you feel about long, detailed (character-)permissions?
They are alright. I read them because people put them there for a reason. (unless they're a super long wall of text that also written on a customized CSS thats lowers the readability ...i give up)
Q16 : Do you attack characters from all sorts of artstyles or choose those who's styles tends to be similar to your own?
i tend to attack whose style similar to my own! or at least, having similar genre of OCs.
Q17 : Do you fill other peoples hitlists?
Never done that! but sometimes i open people’s hitlist to read form to see whats it all about...(??) I thought of making a hitlist myself this year but....maybe next time...
Q18 : Do you actually read whats written on other peoples user profiles before you attack them? (skimming counts)
i always read them all! it serves as a vibe check to determine if i vibe with this user and whether i want to attack them or not...
Q19 : Do you enjoy attacking "beginner"- artists and/or characters?
If they have design that interests me, yep!
Q20 : How do you feel about mass attacks, do you want to be included in them?
i find them a really cool concept! Something funny, though: I clearly stated that I don't want to be included in mass attacks, yet I've still had plenty of people include me in them 🤣 Sometimes I wonder if people missed that part from my permissions... but no hard feelings! Most of them have been really cool, and I'm happy they thought of my characters... (my PABear family being featured in Modern Family parody mass attacks is still mind blowing. I LOVE THAT SERIES) I might tweak my global permissions and remove the mass attack restriction someday... we'll see!
If you're wondering why I dont want to be included in the first place : i have this restriction to NOT have my ocs being drawn with other creator's ocs without permission. Being in a mass attack means my characters are surrounded by many ocs from other creators and i dont wanna risk the possibility of my characters being depicted out of character...yeah thats mostly it.
Q21 : Are you fancy with html profiles and all that, or just use good old text /or minimal formatting html?
I love a good amount of simple formatting! Dont @ me for this, honestly profiles with too much customization (especially when its heavily changing the layout and color themes) confuses me and i find them hard to navigate... 😭😭
Q22 : What is your main #1 reason for joining artfight?
For the love of the game yeahhh. Mostly because i love the spirit of giving and receiving! I love drawing for people and making them happy, and I also like...winning points for that haha! :")
Plus I love having little surprises to look forward to everyday in the whole month <3 <3
Q23 : Do you check the account out when someone follows you?
Yup yup I always do! though i'm not always following back everyone immediately, its still a great way to discover new people and targets.
Q24 : Have you ever made an attack for someone that wasn't a regular drawing? (a craft or animation for example)

🌟Joy of Shared Adventure🌟
Energetic • Spontaneous • Youthful
Just two people meeting by chance. They’re college students bounded in an established romantic relationship. Together they enjoy their present day and look ahead for what they can have in the future. Learning love, laughter and everything in between. Their overall relationship is usually a fun and comedy one. I swear these two are the embodiment of being cheesy and so stupidly in love it makes your jaw hurt (from grinning till your teeth dry).
To Allen, Frey is her anchor. The grounded presence that helps her navigate life, the reassurance. The one teaches her many things without making her feel small and looked down. To Frey, Allen is his spark, a chaos he doesn't mind having around. the one who reminds him that life is meant to be enjoyed, not just managed.
It may too obvious .... but, Fureren is basically the ship I use to explore physical closeness as well. They’re just naturally super touchy and comfortable with each other, so it feels right to push that side of their relationship. They’re the pair I go to when I want to try writing or drawing intimacy in a soft, affectionate way. It fits them, and it’s fun for me to explore too. (And a little bit too embarassing, to be honest. I'm always grateful for all my friends supporting all the fureren kissy kissy agenda)

Jake and Rose are domestic partner that took the role of parental figure for the 4 cubs. What began as a temporary arrangement slowly turned into something more meaningful. They’re the type of pair who find beauty in the most mundane things: quiet mornings, shared tasks, raising the kids, just… everyday life.
Honestly this drawing was made because I was getting emotional after reading my friends’ heartfelt reviews about Bear With Us zine… especially the parts talking about Jake and Rose as caretakers together. 😭😭JKRS is technically the oldest ship I’ve had. They’ve existed the longest out of all my octps. But funny enough, their relationship is still the slowest to develop. Since PABear went on hiatus, I’m only now picking them up again, continuing their story from where I left it.
I like on how my friends notices from the book Rose is a person that often 'complains'; she's notices what’s missing, what could be improved, what needs work. Because she genuinely wants things to be better for everyone. While Jake is the grounding presence Rose didn’t even know she needed. He might not be as skilled and competent as Rose but he’s patient and always choosing to see the best in people. Where Rose sees the flaws, Jake sees the strengths. Where Rose corrects, Jake comforts. With this in mind, they balances each other.
It hits so hard because somehow my friends all still here, watching them grow one tiny moment at a time. They’re not an official couple yet, but people still feel their bond. I’m taking my time with them, because romance was never the main focus of PABear. But the slowburn is there. Gentle, gradually building throughout the story. They are still the parental figure of the foster kids, they’re already a family... They will catch up....!!!

As their story revolves around yearning one to another, surviving distance, enduring hardship and uncertainty. For them, love is something that grows slowly and accumulates over time. I feel like their finale would have huge 'celebration' implication as it symbolizes “we’re still here" or endless “thank you for being in my life”(s). The quiet truth that this is what you get when two people stay together long enough: a love that’s tender, grateful, and full of years---
Years of shared milestones, birthdays and anniversaries, the softness of aging together. the way George cherishes Darlene, the way Darlene feels loved and seen. It's all about that, honestly.
In this drawing I feel like Darlene is getting pranked so bad to the point she got so teary-ly upset before the cake reveal (she's still as sensitive as she can be) and george is still as goofy as he is... hahaha

The idea was little red and the hunter fulfilling the Wolf's wish to eat delicious food made by the humans! So they are appear to serving a grand meal for her hehe. I tried to draw the wolf holding the an awkward manner.. assuming that she isn't familiar with the table manner at all. She is eager to much all the grand meal in front of her still. >:D
PS. a friend pointed out Waffle's cameo back in the background.... sharp eyes... what if i say its a small lore easter egg >:) Waffle did existed in this AU after all....

As an opening to October... Initially I wanted to make animation out of this Wolf drawing. Like the classic scene whereas the wolf were caught doing her thing (re : munching her brunch). Yet she immediately noticed your presence few meters away. By the sound of your feet stomping on the leaves? Or perhaps your smell?
I figured out animations would took too much time. 😓 Regular illustration would be good enough with this time restraint!
Took a quite a while before I decide how the final art would end like. Asked my risma pardner for the wolf's eyes treatment. I decided to go w/ the 1st version this time. That eerie feeling... looks nice. At least to give an intimidating first impression before the truth unfolds >:)
This wolf drawing could be seen as her first encountered either with the red riding hood and/or the hunter. The prologue, for sure.

Gun down or gun up?
I asked few friends' opinion on my sketches... Most vote went to the 1st one a.k.a gun down! I personally like that one too, i want to draw the hunter as hot cool as possible (trying! my best)
I like how the 1st choice got interpreted as "The Hunter is appearing cautious--all skeptical--as he searches for the feared beast. He lowered his rifle as soon as he realized something is off. Well, it's still the prologue after all!"
So I proceed with that first sketch. My only concern was that his holding-the-riffle pose wasn't clearly visible when cropped to the composition. I still keep the other two version of the sketches, I could still use it for something in the future. Also IDK how to draw riffle for real. JKSDAJKFS BUT thanks CSP gallery for having that free 3D asset. Huge lifesaver!!! I can draw hapiharo doujinshi!!!!

Finally getting the time to start working on Mikakazukin!! he he he. I came up with various sketches (there are 5 of them but I decide to only show these two!)
As usual, asked my risma pardner to vote again.. The 1st one has a pretty good composition and pose! I like it... but the foreshadowing-lore-accurate sketch was the winner. 😇 (aka the second sketch)
The Red Ridng Hood seemed like she was caught off guard. Looking down, realizing that she might've stepped...onto..something. That led to her first encounter with the wolf.
I thought the second one also has a matching vibe with the rest of the set. The first one is like.. good for aesthetic-purposes.
Writing "Red Riding Hood" takes too much space on the ribbon. So I decided to stick with "The Villager" title for her. It matched the whole set better 🤝😉 Since lil red riding hood wasn't the main focus on this AU, villager suits her too story-wise hehehe
The Red Riding Hood drawing completed the quickest among the other two. I didn't spend too much time pondering what to add or what to fix. It was posted on the next day.

Ok maybe thats all the rambles for this set! Crosses finger I could somehow draw the stories as comics. I feel like I've been cooking quite well for this AU ^_^ if not this month, definitely next year.
Hopefully i'll be able to cook one more thing by the end of october :D
od im so slow... but thats okay i'd like to take all the time i can to pursue what i passion for. Commissioning someone else for this AU been a very hard to achieve due to lot of reasons. So i'll try to cook it myself!!!!

All i can picture is all the chaos and rush of them figuring out how to do these trendy kids thing haha. To think they were trying photobooth out of curiosity BECAUSE their son's gf, their kid-in-law (COUGHUEHUE) recommended it to them...waughgh.. sillies
Before the door was closed, a soft whisper of goodnight echoed in the stillness of the night, wishing the children, tucked and warm under their blankets, a happy dream.
Rose's hand slipped off the doorknob. She stretched her arms up in the air, her eyes had met the clock. It was 9 PM. The children were already on their bed as scheduled.
That's one of the tasks done. Now comes..., the next task...
Her steps were quiet towards the living room, there, she found Jake was already collecting the toys that had scattered over the floor.
"You should have asked them to tidy up" Rose crossed her arms, "Not offering them to make up their mess, that's irresponsible for them"
Jake could only gave her a sheepish laugh, "They would get distracted and continued to play, all of them had to go to bed and it was nearly their bedtime"
Jake picked up a train toy and smiled, "being discipline and on time are also part of being responsible, no?"
Rose rolled her eyes, feigning annoyance, though, she relented with his reason, she sighed and finally helped Jake collecting the children's toys.
The sound of toys being picked up and placed inside the box filled the living room for a while before Jake began to hum a song.
Rose's ears perked towards the familiar tune, her attention went back to Jake, "Isn't that the music for the children's day performance?"
Jake stopped the hum and nodded, "Yes, it is"
"How'd you know that?"
Jake reached the back of his head and scratched there, averting his glance away from Rose's figure, another sheepish chuckle escaped him, "I helped with the props and decoration for the stage" he confessed.
Hearing the answer, prompted Rose to raise her brows, "Help...? You mean, you've been going back and forth helping out pak rt and ibu-ibu komplek setting up the stage for the event?"
A quick and nervous nod followed from Jake, "Daniel invited me to help them out, and I volunteered myself"
The room fell silent and they kept on exchanging stare.
Not wanting to misinterpret her glare, Jake quickly cleared his throat and attempted to break the silence first, "Is... Is something wrong?"
Rose hummed, realizing that she had been staring him, "No, it's just..." she paused, her eyes began to drift to the box of toys below...
Her lips were slightly pursued for a moment before she addressed her thought, "I knew Yuki and Daniel will participate in the children's day event, they told me themselves" she paused again, her fingers traced the plush toy she was holding.
"...But, you rarely told me anything you do, Jake"
Jake's eyes grew slightly wider at her words, "I-I don't want to bother you while doing the house chores, that's all"
"That's very thoughtful of you, but the children would still tell me anything even if I was doing the house chores, they would come, offer me help, then yap endlessly. Telling me everything they saw or done"
The room fell silent again, yet, nobody moved slightly.
Rose contemplated and Jake was waiting.
"I wish..." Rose huffed, defeated by her own conflicting thoughts, then, she continued, "I wish you would tell me more about you. What you do, where you're going. It would ease me up a little bit"
"Ease you up..?" Jake repeated,
"Yes. You are still under my care, are you not? It would put me in relief knowing that everyone under my care is safe and not doing anything reckless when I'm not around to scold them"
Rose took in a deep inhale as her features softened, "So, yeah" she mused, continuing her task, "You should tell me more about you"
Jake blinked few times, her words sunk into his mind. "You wouldn't mind?" he asked,
Rose scoffed playfully, "Why would I mind about a small rambling from you? It's harmless"
"Well" Jake gripped the toy in his hand a bit firmer, he could feel the shape of the squishy toy pressing against his chest, he barely moved an inch.
A flustered mess he had become and he hadn't noticed it, "okay, I will try... telling you more in the future" he replied finally, then quickly added, "...about me, that is"
Rose gave him a silent nod in return as she continued to focus at the task at hand: tidying up the living room.

One day Little Red Riding Hood was attacked by mysterious beast from the forest while on her way towards the neighbouring village. Mr. Hunter, whose role was to protect the village he lived in, tried to hunt down the aforementioned beast.
......Only to discover that the feared and mysterious beast was actually a wolf girl who seeks finer things for her meal. 🎀🐺🔫

🐺 Wolf: A girl with short silver hair/furs. Possess wolf features while looking like a human whose origins remain mysterious (for now!). The wolf girl wasn't as harmful as people assumed. She is actually has a bright and lively personality. Due to lacking of satisfying food in the forest, the wolf girl is constantly hungry. She grew fondness towards homemade cooking made by the humans. 🍽️😋 Personally wolf girl likes being pat on her head like regular domestic animals. The pocket belt she's wearing contains little fruit berries for her to snack.
🔫 Hunter : A young man with reddish brown hair. His eyes are light blue. A cool and serious type. He protects his village and his family from mysterious beasts of the forest. The beasts are often found attacking livestock animals, ruining gardens and occasionally attacking humans that wanders around the forest. Although he has a serious personality, he is actually a caring and kind person to those close to him. In honor of his duties as the village's guardian, he's generally well-respected by the villagers. He is most often seen wearing a hat and carrying a hunting rifle.
🎀 Little Red Riding Hood: It's the Hunter's younger sister! She has long, silky hair, reddish brown in color. She was attacked by the Wolf because she accidentally stepped on her tail. In other words, the attack was a misunderstanding. She is very cheerful and soon becomes friends with the wolf girl once things cleared up.

When the hunter tried to hunt the wolf, the wolf caught him first.
The wolf notices that the hunter has the same scent as Little Red Riding Hood. She then complained her pettiness toward the girl who stepped on her tail.
The misunderstanding was cleared up and the three become friends.
In return, the wolf asked the hunter to introduce her to the various dishes made by the villagers. Fulfiling her goal to eat much delicious meal than just a raw meat and random mushrooms from the forest.
[ Update. Spoiler alert : Wolf Girl's Origins ]
Wolf Girl was originally a villager who passed away at young age from a terminal illness.
In her final moments, her desperate wish to keep living was heard by the mysterious magic of the forest. At the same time, the soul of a wolf that had died from starvation lingers within the woods, carrying the same powerful desire to survive.
Moved by their shared will to live, the forest's magic merged the two souls into one. Thus, the girl was reborn into existence as an embodiment of human and wolf. She gained a healthy body and a second chance to live. In addition, her seemingly bottomless appetite is a manifestation shared by the wolf's soul who died due to starvation.
