Managed to celebrate it with all my OCTPs this year!

🌟Joy of Shared Adventure🌟
Energetic • Spontaneous • Youthful
Just two people meeting by chance. They’re college students bounded in an established romantic relationship. Together they enjoy their present day and look ahead for what they can have in the future. Learning love, laughter and everything in between. Their overall relationship is usually a fun and comedy one. I swear these two are the embodiment of being cheesy and so stupidly in love it makes your jaw hurt (from grinning till your teeth dry).
To Allen, Frey is her anchor. The grounded presence that helps her navigate life, the reassurance. The one teaches her many things without making her feel small and looked down. To Frey, Allen is his spark, a chaos he doesn't mind having around. the one who reminds him that life is meant to be enjoyed, not just managed.
It may too obvious .... but, Fureren is basically the ship I use to explore physical closeness as well. They’re just naturally super touchy and comfortable with each other, so it feels right to push that side of their relationship. They’re the pair I go to when I want to try writing or drawing intimacy in a soft, affectionate way. It fits them, and it’s fun for me to explore too. (And a little bit too embarassing, to be honest. I'm always grateful for all my friends supporting all the fureren kissy kissy agenda)
🌿Beauty in Mudane Things🌿

Jake and Rose are domestic partner that took the role of parental figure for the 4 cubs. What began as a temporary arrangement slowly turned into something more meaningful. They’re the type of pair who find beauty in the most mundane things: quiet mornings, shared tasks, raising the kids, just… everyday life.
Honestly this drawing was made because I was getting emotional after reading my friends’ heartfelt reviews about Bear With Us zine… especially the parts talking about Jake and Rose as caretakers together. 😭😭JKRS is technically the oldest ship I’ve had. They’ve existed the longest out of all my octps. But funny enough, their relationship is still the slowest to develop. Since PABear went on hiatus, I’m only now picking them up again, continuing their story from where I left it.
I like on how my friends notices from the book Rose is a person that often 'complains'; she's notices what’s missing, what could be improved, what needs work. Because she genuinely wants things to be better for everyone. While Jake is the grounding presence Rose didn’t even know she needed. He might not be as skilled and competent as Rose but he’s patient and always choosing to see the best in people. Where Rose sees the flaws, Jake sees the strengths. Where Rose corrects, Jake comforts. With this in mind, they balances each other.
It hits so hard because somehow my friends all still here, watching them grow one tiny moment at a time. They’re not an official couple yet, but people still feel their bond. I’m taking my time with them, because romance was never the main focus of PABear. But the slowburn is there. Gentle, gradually building throughout the story. They are still the parental figure of the foster kids, they’re already a family... They will catch up....!!!

As their story revolves around yearning one to another, surviving distance, enduring hardship and uncertainty. For them, love is something that grows slowly and accumulates over time. I feel like their finale would have huge 'celebration' implication as it symbolizes “we’re still here" or endless “thank you for being in my life”(s). The quiet truth that this is what you get when two people stay together long enough: a love that’s tender, grateful, and full of years---
Years of shared milestones, birthdays and anniversaries, the softness of aging together. the way George cherishes Darlene, the way Darlene feels loved and seen. It's all about that, honestly.
In this drawing I feel like Darlene is getting pranked so bad to the point she got so teary-ly upset before the cake reveal (she's still as sensitive as she can be) and george is still as goofy as he is... hahaha

this is me the whole time drawing + writing this. i dont know if im making any sense i just want to ramble nonsense out there. it's いい夫婦の日 after all. AHHHHH i hope i will still have the passion to keep writing them because they are my pride and joy!!!!!!! people i made up and keeping me sane!!
