Strength to protect what matters most

[OOC] - I’m here because wife and the gf gave me a brainworm.. a Genshin Impact AU for Terra.

He’d be from Qingce Village. An older man (Eraqus) found the boy abandoned in the mountains and took him in when they could find no trace of the boy’s family. From an early age he obtained a Geo vision, and fights with a Claymore. Terra wants to be a powerful fighter like his ‘father’ and to protect people, as Eraqus had always taught him, so he naturally drifts towards becoming a part of the Millelith, but found that he wasn’t good at fighting with a spear, and thus wasn’t able to join.

It disappointed him greatly to be turned away, and so he becomes a part of the adventurer’s guild instead, and typically sticks to commissions that involve protecting other people. He wants to do what is right to protect others, instead of looking out for his own interests.

Obviously I need to think more on this, but it’s a start.

[OOC] - People are allowed to have different ways of viewing their favorite characters, and that’s okay. If someone’s views don’t align with your own, it isn’t your place to bully them or say that they’re wrong. Remember, not everyone thinks the same as you do.

Well, this was a shock. Somehow, seeing Vanitas of all people.. laughing, didn’t make him feel so mad anymore about being sprayed. And yet..

“You should be careful of playing pranks on people, someone might get mad and try to hurt you for it.” nailed it.

Vanitas sees his target. 

Vanitas pulls out a water gun and squirts the back of Terra’s head!

He’s quick to turn around, bringing a hand up to rub at the back of his head, confused more than angry.

“Ven, what are -- wait,” he paused, staring, “Vanitas.”

“I suppose you are.. but Aqua’s also gotten stronger. Who’s to say that won’t somehow reflect in her baking?”

“As much as I think you could, the last time you tried you ended up eating too much and couldn’t move for two days.”

“..Aqua’s been stress-baking again. Maybe I should invite some of the others over to clean out the fridge. Ven and I can’t eat all of this.” On top of that, he wasn’t a fan of such sugary foods. Gross.

“pfft, that’s what you think! I’ve been training a lot behind your back. I might even show you up this time.” Ven mirrored Terra’s grin, accepting the other’s hand to help steady himself, but quickly bounced to his feet.

“Behind my back? With your boyfriend?” Terra barked with laughter, bringing a hand up to affectionately ruffle the other’s hair before moving to rest his hands on his hips, humming with thought.

“Guess that means I can’t go easy on you anymore, doesn’t it?”

He was nearly tripping over himself as he got to his feet in a matter of seconds. “You know I would!”

“Woah woah,” Terra chuckled, reaching out to steady Ven as he stumbled. “Easy there, don’t want you taking yourself out before I get the chance,” he teased, lips curling into a devious and playful grin.
