𝙸𝙵 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙴 𝚆𝙰𝚂 𝙰𝙽 𝙸𝙽𝚂𝚄𝙻𝚃 𝚃𝙾 𝙱𝙴 𝙵𝙾𝚄𝙽𝙳, valvossa was blind to it. her smile faded to one softer, and genly she lifted daedric-clawed fingers to grasp the necklace, delicately lifting it to the light to admire the faint shimmer of the enchantment. finally, she curled her hand, and grasped it in her fist.
“ only a fool would turn down the extra assistance. this is lovely, thank you. ..here, hold this– ” she held out her helmet, waiting for idgrod to take the (admittedly probably quite heavy) helmet so that both hands would be free, free enough to slide the necklace around her neck. “ —how long have you been enchanting? ”
she lets out a quiet oof! as she tries not to drop the helmet ( valvossa really wears this ? for days and days ? her poor neck ! ) but even that small gasp couldn’t curb the spread of the open smile that had somehow snuck on to her face without her say-so
“ it’s been an interest of mine since i was very young... i remember, once we visited solitude and i spent an entire day tinkering with the arcane enchanter at the blue palace. of course, it was in lady sybille’s bedroom and she wouldn’t let me in there unsupervised so she insisted on watching me, and mother wouldn’t let me alone with lady sybille unsupervised so she insisted on having a guard watch the both of us... ” idgrod trails off as she realises she’s rambling, putting a hand to her mouth as if to stop any more words escaping.
