Ryo-chu with Touga Berry

Princess Ryo-chu of Court is the wayward heir of the kingdom Court of Nearest Town. She very much does not have the right temperament for being a politician. While inquisitive, she is frankly not very smart, and struggles with her social skills. When fellow reject Pikajolt resigned her guard position over arguments with the monarchy, Ryo-chu left with her for the opportunity to be something more than head of state. Her brothers Blood Rose and Tear Daisy are now the new crown princes. Ryo-chu is joyful and exuberant. She's happy to meet anyone, and is good at defusing situations with her warm and open nature. She's a good listener, and loves doing repetitive tasks like digging and counting money. She's creative, and makes art and plays games in her free time. She is a competent battler, but tends to fight with a soft touch, using non-damaging moves before going in for the kill. A reboot of my old Mystery Dungeon Team! Though to be honest, the characters themselves predate Mystery Dungeon. You can see the original art of Ryo-chu here.

Pikajolt Lounging

Pikajolt, or "Big Pika" is the leader of Team Light Bomb, a large and established rescue team on Eastridge Island. Despite being good at making good decisions in the long term, she's rude and opinionated in person, and works best with Pokemon who can appreciate her in spite of herself. She's quick to apologize for her mistakes and a notoriously terrible liar, which makes her easy to trust. Pikajolt is originally from the kingdom Court of Nearest Town in Eastridge, where she worked as a town guard. After getting in a dispute with the king and queen, she left with one of the princesses to form her own kingdom. While on her journey, she joined a rescue guild, and eventually formed her own team with Melanie and Co. A reboot of my old Mystery Dungeon Team! Though to be honest, the characters themselves predate Mystery Dungeon.

Commander Munching

Firey and rude, Co is the muscle of Team Eastridge. Though strangers find it tough to put up with his bad attitude, he's softened a lot around his teammates, and is a good team player...though there were admittedly many rough spots. He clashes the most with Pika due to her strong personality, and most of the fights that hold up the group are between the two of them. Co is originally from the mountains, from which he was forcibly ejected after an unenviable argument with his parents. Unable to live up to their standards of strength, he joined a rescue team to prove his worth and hopefully one day return as a weathered hero. A reboot of my old Mystery Dungeon Team! Melanie Cooking

Part of my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon team, Melanie the Alolan Vulpix. She's a mediocre fighter, but when she lacks on the battlefield she makes up from in the kitchen. Like many other Alolan Vulpix, she is completely unafraid of fire despite her typing, and always prepared to hunker down to make food or healing supplies. Melanie came from another village...and that is about what's known about her past. She is the peacekeeper of the team, having low tolerance for petty arguments. She's excellent at talking others through their problems, though she sometimes wishes the team would be more considerate of her feelings. A reboot of my old Mystery Dungeon Team! Dust Pie

A redesign trade I did on a Toyhouse thread. I like it a lot, this time I got to try designing an MLP-style pony, which is something I don't do very often. The character (depicted as both an Earth Pony and a pegasus) was described as being able to create dust devils and turn into dust, so I drew her as a unicorn. I also gave her some accessories to help her stand out. Character belong Rosefallclan1.

All Edge

A failed attempt at making merch, I got far along enough that I ended up deciding to finish it anyway. You can see the original sketch here. I asked some friends and decided I wanted something more dynamic, but the older sketch was a good opportunity to try some new techniques on how to color fur.
