A/N: inspo hit me when I rewatched BND so here is another Peter Parker x Reader fic. It’s SFW. Lmk what you think or if you want more!
Reader is implied to be some sort of psychic, maybe. Ned and MJ still exist. Abstract about if her and Peter were romantic or not before.
Premise: but what if true love does remember? What if true love doesn’t let you forget at all.
“You're gonna forget who I am.” Peter spoke sadly as he looked between the three of them.
“What?” Ned’s voice pitched slightly.
“Peter, what are you talking about?” MJ asked with concern in her tone. She perked up too, her brows furrowing as she frowned between them. Her gaze watery as it met his.
“Yeah, Peter.” She added, “what are you talking about?”
“It's okay... I'm gonna come and find you, and I'll explain everything. I'll make you remember me. It'll be like none of this ever happened. Okay?” Peter says. Smiling reassuringly even as tears welled in his own eyes. It was all a fog.
She gasped awake, sitting up as her eyes flew open. Her hand resting on her chest as she gasped for breath. She looked around the room quickly just as her bedroom door opened.
In the door, her older sister Michelle quirked a brow.
“You up?” She tilts her head. Brown curls pulled back. “You promised you’d walk with me to work. Ned’s gonna meet us there… you good?”
“I… yeah,” she replied with an exhale. Her breath steadies as she opens her eyes. “Hey, what about Peter? Is he meeting us there?”
Michelle’s brows furrowed.
“Who’s Peter?” Her sister tilts her head in confusion. She scoffs.
“Who’s Peter? MJ are you serious? Peter Parker? Y’know what, I’ll call him myself.” She rolls her eyes. Picking up her phone. She unlocks it, shifting to her contacts. At the same time, MJ crosses the room. MJ lifts her hand to her sister’s forehead as she scrolls. The crease only deepens in her brows.
“Are you feeling okay? You don’t have a fever…” MJ murmurs. Her brown eyes surveying the girl scrolling on her phone with concern.
“What the hell,” she laments, her brows furrowing. “Why can’t I find his number? I’ll just type it myself…” she huffs, opening the keyboard and dialing. MJ watches with concern as she hits call.
“Hey, you’re clearly distressed. Maybe you shouldn’t—“
The ringing sound cuts off abruptly on the phone. Followed by an older sounding voice. In Spanish. Not a single word of English before it abruptly cuts off. She frowns, staring at the device. Suddenly deeply confused as she frowns, tears rolling down her face. Before she pauses.
“Wait,” she murmurs, “he did a… a spell.” She says finally.
“A…spell…” MJ says crouching, following but maybe a little incredulous.
“With… with Dr… Strange. To make everyone forget.” She adds.
“…was this your dream? Maybe you met this Peter somewhere else.” MJ asks finally, helpfully suggesting an alternative. Her brow slightly raised in disbelief. She laughs a little broke, shaking her head as tears start to roll down her cheeks. She sniffles as the gravity of the situation seems to sink in.
“No… maybe. It felt real.” She sniffles, wiping at her cheek as she realizes her sister truly doesn’t remember. She shakes her head before looking at her MJ again. Playfully snapping at her, “get out so I can change.”
MJ laughs, “hurry up. I don’t want to be late.”
When MJ leaves, she frowns, pulling back her comforter to head to her dresser. She changes into something comfortable to lounge in while she waits on her sister to get off work. Packing a bag of things to do. She’d be waiting for MJ to get off after all. Still… it didn’t feel like a dream. It definitely felt real. She’d had a crush on Peter for 6 years after all, since 5th grade. Even longer than MJ liked him.
As they take the train to MJ’s work, she walks in silence. Listening to her sister talk. Ned would be there soon. She’s not worried about him though. Her mind keeps wandering.
Where are you Peter?
She sighs as her pencil moves on the page of her sketchbook. Her, MJ, and Ned, were going to open their MIT letters together… would Peter even get one now? Would he go to school? Where was he? Was he okay? May just died, how was he?
“Alright, bug,” Ned’s voice pulled her out of her reprieve. She glanced up from the window. Startled as she glanced back. “You’ve been spacing out since I got here. What’s up with you?”
“She’s been spacing out all day,” MJ corrects, “is it the dream still?”
“…yeah.” She murmurs. Looking back towards the window and watching the street. “Open the letters without me.”
“Hey,” MJ leans on the counter slightly, “did you change your mind about MIT overnight? Why aren’t you excited?”
“…I feel like I’m waiting for someone.” She murmurs.
“C’mon,” Ned adds as he speaks her name. “We gotta do it together.”
She rolls her eyes and pushes the envelope towards Ned.
“Open it for me,” she murmurs. He scoffs, sharing a look with MJ. But they seem to realize she’s not going to cooperate so they just shrug. Tearing at the envelopes as the bell above the door chimes. She looks up, gasping softly as her gaze lands on him.
She pushes up from the chair. Ned and MJ are too consumed in their letters to notice her approaching this stranger who had just entered the shop. Though, she doesn’t treat him as such. Her eyes water slightly as she steps towards him. His own dark gaze widens slightly. He blinks quickly, mouth moving like he wants to speak.
“Peter,” she says, as an emotional tear slips from her eye, “I… I didn’t forget.” She murmurs. His jaw drops slightly. Dark eyes searching her face as he gapes at her. Before his eyes shift to the two behind her who were now excitedly talking. His eyes start to water slightly.
“You didn’t?” He asks as he looks back towards her.
She smiles just a little, “I didn’t, Peter…” her smile falls, “they did.”
“You’re not supposed to remember me either.” He reminds somewhere between deeply relieved and genuinely shocked.
“I know,” she murmurs. Her gaze falling for a moment before she looks back up. “But I couldn’t forget you.” She admits. A tear actually rolls out of his eye now. A pained sound leaving him.
“But why?” He asks, “why do you remember, when Ned doesn’t? When MJ doesn’t?” His voice breaks slightly. She takes a deep breath. The others were watching curiously now but they weren’t intruding. They weren’t close enough to hear.
“I couldn’t forget you because… I love you, Peter Parker.” She murmurs, smiling just a little. Her face a bit wet from the tears slipping free. His face does something complicated as it breaks. But there’s a sort of surrender to it. Like falling into the arms of someone familiar after the floor is ripped out under him.
“Oh thank god,” he murmurs. Stepping closer and pulling her into a tight hug. She rubs his back softly as she hugs him firmly.
“I’ve got you,” she murmurs softly, “I’ve got you…”
“…hey! You gonna buy something, or are you going to emotionally terrorize my sister my whole shift?” MJ calls finally. Pausing the heartfelt moment. Peter tenses and she lets out a breathless laugh. Pulling back slightly as she sniffles. Looking at him, she nods reassuringly as she lets him go.
“Uh… hi. My name is Peter Parker and I… would like a coffee.”
A/N: as an avid witchcraft user…. I had to imagine a witch! Reader x Peter Parker… anyway it’s been a bit since I’ve written anything. (She/Her pronouns sorry, not gender neutral)
Basic backstory- reader doesn’t really replace MJ and Ned. They exist but Reader was with Peter instead of MJ, and never really got in touch with her powers until him. I cut things and moved them to fit my agenda. Lmk if y’all want a pt.2

Witch! Reader x Peter Parker/Spiderman
Summary: Peter Parker erased his memory from everyone’s minds… well, at least, he thought it was everyone. But does magic really affect everyone in the same way? Or is more of a… band-aid?
Four years, 2 months, and eleven days.
That’s how long it had been since the strange gaping buzz seemed to float around her memory. It was odd. Some days she felt like it was at the tip of her tongue, whatever was missing, and others like today…
It was another bustling New York day. She’d just gotten off work at the metaphysical shop she did readings at. The scent of sandalwood and palo santo clung to her clothes as she stepped into the traffic. She paused, eyebrows furrowing, before she turned back and looked in the direction of the damage control building. Her eyes staring up at the high windows for a prolonged silent moment.
CRASH.
She jumps slightly as a tank goes barreling into the building. Slamming through the wall with an explosion that’s followed by quick ‘thwip’ sounds in succession. Webs just barely visible as bodies come running from the building. Her feet remain planted to the cement under her feet. Compelled to watch as the chaos unfolds, her head tilting to the side as an old woman is carted out on a stretcher.
“I swear, I don’t remember anything,” the old woman pleads as she is wheeled to an ambulance. “Please, what’s going on?” The lady’s voice is full of fear but she doesn’t find herself watching long before.
BOOM!
She drops slightly, shielding herself with her arms as a barrier. Protecting herself from debris as the ground rocks. The chatter picks up as people scream and scatter. She lifts her head as the Earth stabilizes. Rising to her feet she tilts her head up just in time for Spider-Man to drop down feet away. Talking to the chief of police.
Something about him makes her head tilt, eyebrows furrowing. As he moves to take off, her feet carry her before she can help herself. Freezing only a few feet from where he was moving away.
“Hey, Spider-Man!” She calls after him. For some reason he freezes pin straight. It only seems to stir the curious void in her more. The scratching pit, 4 years, 2 months, 11 days.
“Everything alright, Ms? Do you need something?” He asks, mid step. The sound of his voice thrown over his shoulder does something complicated. Pain and longing twist in her chest, she frowns. She can’t seem to place it. It’s right there. Why can’t she place it?
She drops the hand she hadn’t realized she’d lifted. Shaking her head.
“Sorry, never mind. I, uh… I mistook you for someone.” She says as she drops her hand.
“Oh,” for some reason he sounds disappointed. It makes her heart fall more than it should and her frown deepens. “Yeah, I get that a lot. Uh… duty calls!” He waves awkwardly, turning and pulling himself off into the air.
She watches him leave.
It’s like watching a part of herself go.
It terrifies her.
She doesn’t understand why.
* later *
She was deeply invested in inventory. Ordering a new shipment for the store when it hit her.
“Well…Have you ever tried… tuning into it?” The boy with the kind brown eyes asked. Tilting his head to the side like a puppy.
“Tuning into what?” She asked? Looking up from the robot they’d been building for class. Her screwdriver pausing mid turn.
“Y’know,” he gestured, “your powers. Like, I became Spider-Man, right? Well maybe you could do something. With your magic. I know you always say you wanna help people…”
She paused, before huffing softly, a smile pulling at her lips as she replied. “No, I haven’t… you have any suggestions Peter?”
“…Peter.” She repeated in a whisper. A tear slipping down her cheek as she blinked. Staring at the screen just in time for a loud crash on the balcony. She jumps, hand lifting to her heart as her head turns towards the window with a startled yelp.
There’s a flash of blue and red as the window is thrown open. The friendly neighborhood masked vigilante climbs through the window to her, Ned, and MJ’s apartment. She pants, catching her breath as she stares at him wide eyed.
“Sorry, sorry,” he begins as he straightens out. The window still wide open behind him as he gets his bearings.
“Jesus Christ, Peter! You gave me a heart attack!” She shouts. Evening her breathing out.
“I know, I know,” he begins rapidly, “but listen. I have to get you somewhere safe, you’re in a lot of dang— what did you just call me?” He paused mid stride. The lenses of his spider suit widening as he stared at her.
She blinked. Realizing with him, before she fixed her posture. Staring at him. “Peter.” She repeated.
“How did you…”
The lenses of his visor widened for a moment. Before he stepped closer, speaking her name. She took a step back.
“You’re gonna forget me.”
She raises an accusing finger. Her lips turning down in a frown. “You made me… all of us… forget you!” She draws out, pained.
He pauses, “…I did. I did do that. And I’m sorry. But please, you have to come with me. I promised I would protect you. I’ll explain… just please,” he repeats her name. She hesitates, looking to his hand as he extends it. She lifts her gaze again.
“…this isn’t over,” she says as she takes his hand. He exhales a mix of relief and amusement radiating off of him.
“Yeah, I know.” He agrees, wrapping an arm around her as they step into her fire escape. She wraps her arms around his neck and once she’s secure, Peter starts swinging.
*
Her brows furrow as they land near the docks. Her gaze shifting around the dark sketchy place. This was somewhere safe?
“Where are we going?” She asks as he sets her down, looking around.
“Someplace safe,” he says, “trust me?”
“Yes,” she says instinctively before continuing, “did she really mind control me? I don’t remember anything after my apartment. What did she say?” She trails behind him.
“Well she— look out!” He jumps back after stepping on a trigger line. He tackles her and takes most of the impact as they hit the ground. Narrowly avoiding a hit from a battering ram of sorts. A booby trap. She lands nose to nose with him, blushing as she scrambles off.
“I thought you said this place was safe?” She scoffs looking back as she offers him her hand. Peter takes it, well, Spider-Man. He refuses to take off the stupid mask. She still hasn’t seen his face.
“It is!” Peter chimes quickly, reassuring, “and she—“
“Jesus kid, thought you’d be smarter than that. Set off damn near every trap in this place.” The gruff voice interrupts him. A scruffy middle aged man steps out on an older rusty yacht above them. He raises his brow. “Who’s the girlfriend?”
“She’s not my girlfriend, Frank!” Peter chimes at the same time she calls out.
“Charming place, do you try to blow up all the guests or are we special?” She quips. Popping her hip as her hand lifts to rest on it. Frank chuckles.
“Cute,” he huffs as his dark gaze shifts to the vigilante with her again. “What do you want, kid?”
“I need your help, Frank,” Spider-Man says placatingly. “I need somewhere safe for her and I didn’t have anywhere else to go.”
“I ain’t a babysitter, kid.” Frank huffs. “Hey, I got a better idea. Why don’t you kick rocks and go home?”
“I can’t do that Frank,” he counters, “I’m trying to get a handle on the Damage Control situation and I can’t focus if she’s not safe. Plus, you owe me.” He holds up a finger like a reminder.
Above, Frank groans. Rolling his eyes as he huffs. “Man, are you still on that?”
“I saved your life Frank.” Peter counters.
“I didn’t need your help kid, when are you gonna let that shit go?” Frank replies sounding annoyed.
“Oh c’mon! I saved your life, Frank. You owe me!” He counters. Frank rubs his temples above. Peter turns his head to look at her. “Back me up?”
“…this is stupid. Can you just help him get this over with so I can go home?” She rolls her eyes. Looking tired, cold, and annoyed. The two arguing men ease up a bit. Frank sighs, waving them up.
“You like chili? I made chili.” He says disappearing inside.
Peter looks back at her.
“I wouldn’t eat the chili, if I were you.”
She shakes her head slightly as she steps closer. He was getting them up there after all. Frank had walked off muttering about claymores.
“You better tell me what happened Peter.” She murmurs as her arms wrap around his neck. He nods.
