I think I like women
Entry 8
Today had such a beautiful end to it. Devereaux can summon storms now apparently — he also got a neat outfit change by the way — so we all got to dance around in the rain together. VP said she’s never experienced rain before. All I could hear was her and Syn’s laughter.
Syn gave me a pair of dandelions. I don’t think she realizes just how much that means to me.
Entry 7
I did it. I actually did it. I told VP about Matty. I don’t know how I held it together long enough to do so, but I did.
She just about gave me a heart attack when I found out she had run off to the castle on their own. I felt that I owed them an explanation for my paranoia.
Entry 6
I have been running around far too much. VP and I tried to go beacon turning. Didn’t work out. Then I went tome hunting with a handful of people. We found one, then got some bad news from Devereaux, and went home.
Speaking of bad news.
They turned Lucielle. She seems fine with it - Devereaux said she had asked for it? Or something like that? I’m not sure. But he also said that the vampires are now trying to get there to be an equal number of humans and vampires, because they think that’ll make it so we can leave. I don’t know how much I believe that. They’re looking specifically for volunteers, at least.
Oh, also. People found books about a cure for vampirism. 3 of them — apparently the whole set.
At least VP gave me a shield. She knew I was refusing to hold one in place of my dandelions, so they tried painting a dandelion onto it. It’s more of just a yellow blob, but it means so much to me. She made me brave enough to go into the dead wood with them.

I am scared confused miss her am surprised
They were not meant to be real.
Entry 4
I talked to VP! She’s actually quite kind. Even though she seems a bit confused, they’re certainly doing her best. They actually showed me around their house! It’s a bit of a labyrinth, but their garden is beautiful. We sat on the bench swing together for a while.
Echo thinks Dr. Devereaux is a vampire. No one else in our small group seemed to know what those are. All I know is things from stories I heard as a child. They are not meant to be real, though.

The last week has been slow, but productive. My house, along with everyone else’s as far as I can tell, have been built. Some people even had the time to build a town hall and tavern, and to repair the beacon’s tower.
VP’s house is certainly interesting. I’m not entirely sure how it stays upright. I’ll have to talk to them about it sometime, maybe sketch it a bit.
My house is so quiet. The windows let in a lot of cold air, and the moss from the roof doesn’t seem secure. I’ll be fine, though. (I made two chairs, even though I know only one will get used) I wish you could sit there
Entry 2
Things have certainly been odd since arriving at Oakhurst. The town itself, for starters, barely even exists anymore. That traveler must have gotten things mixed up. Even worse, there are these… things. People keep calling them “beacons” and it makes my skin crawl every time. The first one I saw was in the tower at the center of town. It was pale, until people crowded around it and somehow turned it orange. The other was in a separate set of ruins, and was red.
The people are certainly something, too. Dr. Alice Blackwell, Syn, and Dr. Chase Devereaux are the only people I talked to who seem relatively normal (though, who really is? if such a thing truly exists). VP has the tendency to find concerning things (mania, disease) to be exciting. Echo shouldn’t be on his own, yet seems to be determined to be anyway. And he collects skulls. I didn’t talk much with anyone else. Me and the doctor went mining together and I gained a bit of insight on her, at least. She’s kind, even if she says a few odd things here and there.
I was so nervous that I clung to dandelions like a lifeline the whole time. No one questioned it, at least.
I have a house now, at least. which is nice. It feels too empty when I’m in there alone, but I kept it small so that doesn’t get too bad.

Entry 1
New journey, new journal, I guess. I like this one. The craftsmen who made it did a phenomenal job with the stamped owl on the front.
Hello there! I’m Crow. Crows Moore, to be exact. Though my last name isn’t necessary, and people usually cut off the ‘s in my first. It’s a bit too awkward to speak aloud.
I’m currently on my way to Oakhurst — a small town that I was told about by a traveler. They said it had “unique people and landscapes,” though they weren’t any more specific than that. I’m excited to find out what they meant.
I think this is good for me. New things are exciting, after all. Or maybe I just needed to get out of that city. Either way! Courage or cowardice, something led me down this path, and I’m not turning back now!
I just wish this carriage ride wasn’t so quiet.
