It was rather cute to see the fallen star get comfortable to life on Earth. She was growing accustomed to mannerisms and phrases, and while it didn't take her an awfully long time to understand things it still required enough bonding for things to go smoothly. Neff could only hope she was being a good host and friend by making this enough enough for Doli, and it was starting to seem like things were paying off.

The light haired starling had been situated in Neff's guest room for quite some time now. It wasn't how Neff expected to get a roommate if she were to have gotten one at all, but having Doli around was nothing short of pleasant. She truly was a divine little lady and honestly? She made Neff feel rather peaceful and calm at home now. No more being stuck in her head, thinking and overthinking things - now she had company even in silence.

And apparently her company cared about her, too, for Neff didn't expect to be asked such a thing. She had to go out longer than usual which means Doli would be on her own for more than the few hours Neff would be at work. Neff trusted her to not burn down the house at all, plus Fenris knew about her ad would be downstairs, but Doli wanted to be sure Neff would be safe.

It warmed her heart.

Neff links her fingers with the other, offering her best smile.

"I promise I'll be safe and I'll come back to you, okay?~"

oof - sorry i disappeared!! i finished my blog and then got sick lmao which has absolutely bombed my inspiration so I have adjusted my activity metre to reflect that...

I am still active on discord though because it is easy (and accessible) for me so if anyone would like, pls DM me and I can share it *v*

The sensation of gentle fingers drifting across her cheekbone is enough to draw her full attention, a little gasp following when she realises she had zoned out and someone was here-- touching her now too. Not that she minded.

A little giggle bubbles up from inside her then when he finishes tucking a stray curl of fluffy white hair away from her face, his fingers catching the sensitive shell of her ear.

❝ m-mmhehe, thank you. ❞

Nerves suddenly skitter across her skin and she rolls her lips together briefly, attempting to chase away the way the blood begins to pool in the fullness of her cheeks.

♪ : singing them a lullaby and brushing their hair Neff shall sing her a song uwu

With her head nestled against the softness of Neff's thighs, the gentle glow around her entire body is truly irrefutable.

The gentleness of Neff's lullaby encircles them both; a sweet and gentle soundtrack punctuated only by the slow and delicate strokes of the hairbrush she uses to comb through the thick silvery tresses that cascade across Doli's shoulder and back before pooling behind her where Neff concentrates most of her gentle ministrations.

With each slow draw of the bristles, the little star's breath begins to deepen with the only indication of her being awake being the broken, whispery little hums that escape her on an odd exhale when she attempts to duet Neff's lullaby.

❝ Arty-? ❞

A muted little gasp parts her lips when he begins to close the space between them. She watches a familiar warmth creep up the high points of his cheeks and bleeds down the column of his neck in sweet little blotches. She wonders if she should lean away— does she even want to be away from him?

 Her thoughts begin to roll like thunderous ocean waves, the rushing of her own heartbeat deafening in her ears until she can’t focus on anything but Arthur; how close he is, the heat of him— how it radiates off him and when she speaks again, it's barely above a whisper.

❝ Arty…❞ Delicate fingers find their way to the underside of his jaw. Touch featherlight to them both yet it feels like she's struck by lightning with how his eyes snap up from tracing the shape of her opened mouth to her own gaze and pupils swollen with desire.

He's so close she can feel his breath against her cheek; light and breathless like he isn't allowing himself enough space in his lungs. Her fingertips dance down then, dropping from his jaw to the tautness of the muscle beneath it, feeling how the cords of muscle jump beneath her touch before he exhales- or sighs, she isn't sure but it feels like it's been punched out of him by the way it rushes against her cheek and his eyes fall away from her face, a flash of shame and embarrassment appearing on his face for a split second.

❝ No-- Don't look away-❞ The words tumble out of her.

❝ Please. ❞

Talons reach out and take a strand of silver hair, spinning it between the tips of their fingers. Carefully they hunch their shoulders, their spine curving and crackling as their skull drifts closer to the star's face. Touch alone is enough to garner the woman's attention and the sparkling eyes focus upon their own vibrant orbs. Silence falls between them, it's unusual but not unheard of for the pair.

"Stay still..."

Nyarlathotep advises her. In one movement the locks and pushed behind her small round ear. Soon their form is even lower, their head canting so that they are next to the side of her face. Despite not needing to breathe a cool breeze ghosts over the surface and the sharp points of their teeth graze the shell.

There's a tearing noise and the beginnings of a pointed tongue appears from where their mouth should be. The cool wet tongue skims over the soft delicate flesh, lapping at the lobe before. Gently they nuzzle the side of her face, purring softly in her ear.

"Good girl...."

Ok, I’m not a big fan of these kinds of posts, but lately, I’m becoming more and more disheartened so I need to know if you’re out there. 

Please reblog this post if you are willing to write with ‘un-shippable’ muses. 

I’m talking about those muses who are perhaps elderly, who are married/taken and not liable to affairs, muses who are asexual/aromantic, or even just muses whose muns don’t really want to ship. 

While I’m always happy that anyone would want to write with me, sadly, over time I have realised that my older/married/ace muses are very rarely (virtually never) requested. So please share this on your blog so that people know they can throw their muses at you who are not going to wind up in ships or with smut threads.
