Kinda random but, do you happen to have any MegOp fanfic recs that specifically deal with the relationship right in the middle of them falling out? Like it hasn’t broken apart completely yet but the cracks are showing and the tension is rising? Or stuff focusing on the immediate emotional aftermath of the fallout, really getting into the delicious angst of it? Idk I’ve got very specific MegOp tastes (namely the messy breakup variety) and yours seem to align with mine.

understand exactly what ur saying i love megop FOR their horrible divorce and horrors,,,sadly i don’t think ive ever seen a fic written specfically right before their fallout, if there is one i would love to read it too 😭 there’s a severe lack of going into the sad falling apart gritty stuff involving megop in fanfics i do wish people focused more on their divide and complicated relationship than pure romantic stuff, cos megop is so far from romance to me lol. i think the closes to this vibe is smeww’s fanfics on ao3

do yor think that tfp megatrons eyes changing color when she started snorting dark energon was symbolism for how she'd lost the decepticon cause to her madness,,, or is this common knowledge and i'm js slow

probably i do assume the moment she started thinking of dark energon as an alternative to winning the war she lost the cause and part of herself. coz i mean who decides to stab themself w evil antithesis version of space energy unless they went totz crazy 😔💔

hewwooo i want to get into drawing but i dont know where to start... what program and tablet do u use? is procreate enough?

procreate is definitely enough! a lot of hobby artists and professionals both use procreate and if that’s what’s available to u it’s a perfect option! i mean it’s all up to the medium u prefer, i started art traditionally (paper and pen) and then eventually got a tablet! art can be made with whatever materials u have.

The tablet i’m using rn is a Wacom Cintiq pro 16 and the programs i use are Clip Studio Paint and Storyboard Pro. i wouldn’t recommend such an expensive tablet to a beginner or hobby artist but there’s plenty of other affordable tablet options like huion or XPpen and or ipads as well! as i said u don’t need anything fancy to make good art

In particular, the way you so seamlessly exaggerate the characters’ features is something I ADORE, it gives them so much liveliness and personality!! Do you have any tips for choosing which features to exaggerate when it comes to tf designs?

EEE omg thank u so much this makes me so happy!! i try my best to exaggerate the characters emotions and body language to make their reactions and personality readable, also coz i strive for a more cartoon like style the pushing of their features needs to be prominent.

some tips i have for doing this w the formers is kinda relevant to everything. i think first most focusing on the eyes and brows and playing with those shapes like making the brows (or helm lines in this case) more prominent, eyes bigger or smaller and following the movement of the face when conveying emotions. if the transformers have any outside parts like wings, door wings, finiales, etc you can play with moving those around while the character reacts. i think any shape/part you find interesting in a transformer design you can always make the focus of the design (for example i rlly like tfp op’s silly big eyebrows so i enjoy making them bigger for silly purposes and more expressive)

i think a lot of it is just playing around w the things u have most fun drawing, simplifying parts so they can flow better when you squash and stretch the character’s body depending on their body language, and just doing art studies of ur basic expressions and stylization stuff.
