It’s so hard not to be with you because you used to make me so happy. You changed my life. You came around when my world was crashing down for the umpteenth time and built it back up again. I was happy. We were happy. I don’t know where I would be right now if it wasn’t for you. No one understands it. No one has ever understood it. I don’t even think I did. I just have to keep telling myself that it wasn’t the same anymore. I’m not sure when the butterflies and the sweet words turned into loud arguments and sleeping alone. I miss sitting on my front porch with you. Barely saying anything. Just sitting in the comfort of your presence was enough for me.
