hi friends ❤️ those of you who have been around a long time might remember the first time i traveled to kenya with my grandparents in 2014. i had been flunking out of college and taking that sabbatical turned my life around.
my grandfather, who spearheaded a few humanitarian projects through his own grant research and rotary, passed away during the height of covid. this july my grandma and i were finally able to travel back together and see the culminations of his life’s work. i miss him so much.
life has been hectic as i’m trying not to waste any of the precious time i have spending with family and friends when i am able. i’ve also been having a hard time escaping into my favorite virtual reality (sims… duh). i think it’s partially due to the whole… world collapsing around us, ya know? anyway, if you’ve made it this far i love you dearly and just know that i have some stuff in the queue. i also got a new laptop that can actually handle all the packs and mods i have shoved into this game lol.
like always i am here lurking and adoring y’all from afar, but the winter months are approaching swiftly and that means more loafing-on-the-computer time. 🫡
