lemon twist but human?!?

i actually started this 2 months ago but I hit a roadblock while inking so i didn’t finish this ‘til now =_=

A Veggietales/Larryboy 2D OC idea I’ve had in my idea head for awhile but never got around to drawing ‘til now.

Her name’s Emily and she’s close friends w/ Herbert and Wally (but she mostly knows Wally more). Emily visits Bumblyburg sporadically due to residing in a different city and thus is in a distant relationship w/ her 2 pals. Nevertheless she still tries to get in contact with Herbert and Wally whenever she gets the chance.

As for height, she’s somewhere inbetween Herbert and Wally’s sizes. As in she’s taller then Wally but slightly smaller then Herbert. I’ll probably get around to making a height chart sketch if I’m not too lazy.

I sketched this last month and finished inking + coloring it today, still trying to find a human design I like for Herbert.

Wanted to draw something V-day related but it’s been a while since I’ve finished something art related and I didn’t want this to be in my backlog for so long that I lose motivation to finish it.

I started this yesterday and finally managed to finish it today. Combining 2 current interests of mine into 1 drawing has always been a fun thing for me, especially when it’s of a character I really like.

Self indulgent Herbert doodle. This was drawn entirely from memory so Herbert looks a bit bad.

Just a crappy little mockup of what Herbert would look like w/o his baseball cap. We only see him without it in one of the Larryboy chapter books (The Amazing Brain Twister) but it’s only for one page. Makes me wonder if Tom Bancroft ever sketched what Herbert would look like capless while designing him.

There’s art of some of the VeggieTales characters as ponies but I couldn’t find any of them drawn as Care Bears so then I thought “what if I were to combine 2 of my current interests together?” and so this was the result.

I was planning on naming Bob “Faith Bear” or “Full of Faith Bear” at first, but “Faith Bear” didn’t roll off the tongue for me and while “Full of Faith Bear” was fine it also didn’t feel right to me.

Some sketches for a Larryboy OC (plus a baby Herbert) I’m working on, he’s supposed to be a scallion like Awful Alvin is. Can’t really decide on a good head shape for him.

I was bored so I thought “What better way to entertain myself then drawing one of my favorite characters from the Larryboy 2D spinoff?”.

This was more or less an attempt at deconstructing, thought it turned out okay besides Herbert’s head(?) looking a bit squashed.

Wanted to try out a “VHS” effect for an upcoming drawing of mines so what better way then to test it on a heavily stylized Share Bear drawn from imagination?

Adding the drawings were a pain considering Tumblr kept rejecting them for some reason until now so I’m praying this actually shows up in tags!
