I love how incompetent JamatoP is as an antagonist. Like he tries to be cool and mysterious and "oh everyone will blame you for putting them here" but he can't even take Spoke's mace away. The mace which he already used twice. He really just seems like a rich kid with resources and an army who has no idea what going on behind his back because he thinks the world works in a way he thinks it does. He can't comprehend the idea that Mapicc still has some sympathy left for Spoke because in Jamato's mind Spoke is pure evil and fucked up and there's no way Mapicc still cares about him even a little bit after what Jamato had shown him. He really isn't cut out to be a villain he should've just stayed as the mentor-bestfriend in the dead wife flashback
