One of the Kadın's favorite things to do when she wasn't busy, was learn. You could never get enough knowledge... especially when you were surrounded by people you didn't trust and weren't entirely aware of their customs and cultures and wished to learn more about them by reading.
Şehla currently had her nose buried in a book about English cuisine, that to her paled in comparison to the extravagant Ottoman cuisine she was used to. She then looked up when she heard footsteps. She wasn't alone in the library. Her guards stepped aside but remained close as they stared at the person who had made their presence known.
"Ah, hello. I see you too have found the library. What books do you like to read?" She asked curiously.

Bruno rarely found himself reading, but today he felt musey and decided to check if the library had Shakespeare. Was it a basic reading choice? Indeed, but something about love and tragedy seemed to resonate with Bruno well. When he found the section that contained Shakespeare’s work, he noticed that the shelf was packed full of sonnets and comedies. When he went to select his favorite of the legendary playwright’s works, Macbeth, the books directly next to it toppled off the shelf as well. Bruno gave a defeated sigh as he picked the books up and return them to the shelf. As he attempted to neatly push the books back, three more fell to the floor. “I believe the English would say ‘bollocks’.” Bruno grunted under his breath, just then he heard the Kadın who had witnessed his clumsiness speak to him.
“Ah, yes, I have indeed, but I haven’t seem to have found my coordination,” Bruno chuckled nervously, feeling his cheeks flush with the redness of his embarrassing blunder, “I generally read Shakespeare, and books on the composers I admire, and yourself?” He didn’t dare address how he had scuffed the books that he picked up from the floor in shame.
