I saw your post from the anti-ai club

Look at drawing tutorials (I know it seems daunting but that's how we all start)

Break things down into shapes and take what you think makes your favorite artist stand out and study that on your art

Shading and rendering comes after so domt worry

For digital art I use a cheaper Samsung tablet with the S pen and ibis paint and sketchbook (both good apps but flawed in different ways)

For traditional I use a canvas XL black sketchbook with paint markers and other mixed media, my favorite is to doodle in pen (like those multicolored novelty pens) and go over it with paint markers

ALWAYS put a date on your art to see how far you've gone in your art journey

Also, it does not matter the expense of supplies my best art has been from turning off my brain and doodling

I don't think I have ever felt this encouraged before.
