Yall I just wanna tell you about my dad who plays Apex. He’s turning 64 and this is the very first video game he’s ever gotten into.

He comes home from work every day and gets right onto Apex. He’ll play for hours, trying to get better and just having fun. He’s written down all the guns and their classes on a piece paper and keeps it near him so he can consult it during the game. He has another piece of paper taped above the tv that says ‘Use your abilities dummy!!’ bcus he forgets to use them a lot.

He only solo queues bcus he doesn’t want to upset his teammates since he’s not very good (his k/d is 0.02). He doesn’t want to get them killed. My siblings and I play with him when we aren’t busy and we try to set up kills for him bcus he gets so excited every time he gets a kill. His favorite gun is - i shit you not - the mozambique. He loves that gun and will drop any other one for it. He has no main, he enjoys playing everyone. Each time he gets a cool new skin for a legend or a weapon, he calls to me so I can see. He’s recently just passed level 100 and maxed out the bp.
