It's been a while! I tried drawing Daryl from Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. He looks pretty different from my usual anime style, but I really had fun with it. He's a funny guy! Inspired by @awlimagines

As a kid I played this so much and the vibes have forever embedded themselves in my soul even though I never figured out how planting worked and survived on fish, mushrooms, and milk.

Trying to capture the hazy winter color palette of the game was a fun challenge!

This time I've drawn your character under a red moon because it seemed appropriate considering her ability is blood magic. This alternative outfit was designed by @carbonatedjem, I knew the moment I saw their drawing that I wanted to try it out, too. I was surprised to see how beautiful Crona looks when covered in those black thorns. The purple roses suits them exceptionally well, right? Been ages since i last used ms paint. Its actually manageable with a tablet tbh. I used some pc98 colors. Idk how long it took please do not ask i didnt pay attention.

My inspirations are mainly visual kei bands like malice mizer (and japanese gothic brand moi meme moitie to an extend), the shironuri subculture, japanese & indonesian folklore and arts, and nature in general :)

But if you want to know specific artists names: alphonse mucha, tim burton, jean lurçat, lots of iris van herpen and jean paul gaultier's works
