Without Thad there to dissuade him over the summer, Bart had started pretending there wasn’t a ladder down from his top bunk. He’d just leap straight off the side and land wherever gravity decided to take him.

Twice, it’s ended with Bart in the middle of Thad’s ritual circle. His pajama pants are charred near the hem from yesterday, when he landed too close to the candles.

This time he’s just mindlessly smudging Thad’s runes and doesn’t even have the good sense to get set on fire about it.

“Do you mind.” Thad says. Loudly. “I was using that.” _

Hi Cryptocism! I've been a huge frequency fan for a year now, and I just wanted to say how much I still love the fic to this day, and I am still very much fixated on the said fic (mainly I REALLY love Six, he resonates with me like no other). Your Chaos and Dark fic is also really amazing, I enjoyed it a lot and really love the concept and writing and everything (and meloni,,, my beautiful underutilised dc character ever). Your wonderland comic is so good to, your art is always so amazing and just everything is so AUUGWHHS- but back on track, I just wanted to say to take your time with everything and hope your doing alright! I can't wait to see what you do with the Wonderland comic and, of course, all your future projects too!!!

Hiiii as a person who also posts fic about a less popular comics character, I just wanna give you extra love and say that frequency is to DATE one of the craziest fics I’ve ever read, utterly gut wrenching, easily in my top five of all time, and I have read HUNDREDS. NO ONE ELSE is doing it like you and I think about 3 and 5s dynamic a normal amount in my day to day life. 🙌🙌🙌

Are there character tree art for the chapters that don't have them in frequency?

unfortunately no :( i had plans to do them for every chapter but it just ended up being too much at the time.

i DID do all of the cool fun ideas tho, such as the glitchy one with Seven's timeline-breaking escape and the one with a younger Five + Three. really the missing trees would've probably been either reused assets or slightly changed variations on the theme so i dont think it was a huge loss

I LOVED FREQUENCY, IT WAS THE BEST FIC I'VE READ IN A LONG LONG TIME. i wasn't reading or writing for a while, but i downloaded frequency and read it on the bus home from school for about a week over the summer, and i enjoyed every minute of it, thank you for blessing us with your braincells
