#81 - “I never understood why some people get angry towards Miku, if you don’t like her don’t listen to her songs. Listen to your favourite Vocaloids songs and covers, buy your favourite Vocaloids’ merch. Why do people constantly feel the need to say ‘Miku sucks and my favourite Vocaloid needs more attention’. Crypton is a company at the end of the day and if Miku is the 'most popular’ they are going to use that to earn money. So stop spreading hate.”

#76 - “I’ve always really liked KaiMei as my OTP, but I don’t understand all the hate towards Meiko from Miku x Kaito shippers. Just because Meiko is someone else that people ship Kaito with doesn’t mean that she deserves so much hate, her design and voice is amazing and it works really well with Kaito’s voice!”

#75 - “I like doing Vocaloid covers. Though it has become obvious that if I produce an original song, I’d need to use Miku. That seems like common sense if I want to get noticed. An amazing song using a lesser known Vocaloid will get overlooked next to a squeaky badly tunned Miku song. Not saying her songs are bad. Just saying that it feels like you need to use Miku to get big in the Vocaloid world.”

#74 - “The Japanese fandom seems so much more fun and accepting, fully understanding the vocaloids are a open concept because they're just voices. But the West fandom polices people on everything and their headcanons. Ive seen this a lot with Rin and Len lately and it's really not fun, doesn't make me really want to make friends anymore because it became less about your favourite song and more about how you see them as an absolute solid concept, and people will shun you if you disagree with them.”

Why is Miku suddenly so hated?

Well, I don’t feel it’s sudden but yes the inbox has been full of negative Miku related confessions recently, I’ve been trying to mix it around but I have no power over how people feel and would like for all the confessions to be posted. Yet, feel free to confess Miku positivity, I would love that!

#69 - “I usually skip the first half of any Crypton Vocaloid concerts because it’s just Miku being boring. Only when the others come on does it get exciting. Even after the other Vocaloids leave and we are back to Miku, the hype is still there.”
