Summary:
Leon Kennedy was no longer a private citizen, but government property. A tool, being sharpened and trained to undergo only the most dangerous and important missions.
The program would take years to mold him, and he had no way out but forward.
(OR: Leon has a rough transition into military training with Krauser. The training is hard enough, but he also has to deal with the stress of being blackmailed, let alone his crippling survivor's guilt. How long can he carry it all?)

Grace closed in on herself when Leon hit her with a look as cold as ice. Any kind-hearted expression had left his face. A part of her wanted to reach out and make sure he was real, that she hadnât left him behind with a bullet through his head or his body beyond salvation.

Summary: When Ashley starts acting uncharacteristically quiet during their walk upon a beaten path, Leon assumes he can cheer her up by mirroring the girlâs previous attempts at small talk. This strategy backfires tremendously.
A concerned feminine voice met his ears. ââŠLeon?â
Leon.
He couldnât think straight, Ashleyâs voice multiplying and swirling in his head, noises overlapping each other like layers of fluid that poured deep into his ears, falling down, down, and mixing together in the pit of his gut. His clothes and skin felt tight against his muscles, which burned and ached with the urge to sprint while he still could.
Iâm giving you an order, Rookie! You save yourself first!

Youâre a cop⊠youâre supposed to know somethingâ!
Leon!
âI can do this,â Leon said between labored breaths. The words were surprisingly hard to get out, which was strange, because he didnât mean to say them out loud.
He could see it in his mind, turning corners and shuffling down dark, twisting hallways. Keeping his ears open for groans and hissing breaths, praying that he still had enough ammunition to make it to the next undiscovered room.
âLeon? Leon! There's aââ
An iron grip snared his right calf and squeezed tight, tearing a pained yell out of his throat.
He tried to drag his leg away but the grip only clawed him harder, pulling him, breaking skin. Leon pulled out his combat knife on instinct, the one given to him by his Lieutenant, and readied himself to plunge it into the zombieâs throat before it could bite his leg.
âLeon!â
Another zombie went for his knife-wielding arm, tugging on it with a weak grip. He could feel its breath on his forearm as it groaned in hunger, rancid breath wafting into his nostrils as the living corpse tugged urgently to lead his exhausted flesh into its awaiting jaw.
Leon swiveled and shoved the zombie off his arm, knocking it to the ground with a yell. He was trying to remember his training from the academy, but his movements were panicked and instinctual. He couldnât slow himself down to think his actions through, his body and brain filled only with the goal of survival.
The monster at his feet refused to release him, no matter how much he tried to back away or shake off its desperate hold. Its nails still pierced deep inside his skin, a cold burn that urged him to flail desperately. Leonâs balance finally faltered as he fell backwards onto the dirt, air forced from his desperate lungs.
The bloody leather of his gloves creaked from the strain as he held his knife in a shaking grip.
I donât have anything actually written for this one (yet?) but I do have a ton of notes. Basically I really really wanted a FMAB fic with a vampire antagonist that would hunt Ed, and was wondering how to make it work in-universe.
From my notes, I wrote that the villain is some sort of escaped chimera experiment, some huge dude who is mixed with a vampire bat and various other blood-sucking things. And maybe he has wings because thatâs bad ass. And he just does evil vampire things, preying on people at night, everyone in the city thinks itâs either a rumor or a sick joke blah blah blah, and things get spicy when Ed gets thrown into the mix. I wanted the villain to torment/stalk Ed as his favorite âprey,â because Ed has Xerxian blood and so he and his blood would smell/taste very unique. And maybe have some sort of heart-tugging plot where Mustang doesnât believe Ed is being stalked until itâs too late.
I have a ton of different routes this could go written in my notes, but this was the main idea. Itâs one of my favorite ideas I made notes for actually lol
This one was supposed to be a short birthday gift to myself that I never finished đ”âđ« maybe Iâll finish one day. But for now, hereâs a snippet for those interested:

The nurseâs dark eyes scanned him with a look of skepticism, before narrowing. âYou donât seem any different. Perhaps thereâs a test youâre trying to get out of?â
His heart jumped. âN-No!âNo⊠I feel wrong. I think something is wrong.â Mob pleaded. Why did he have to plead? Was the horror not showing in his eyes? âI feel a lot worse than I look. My chestââ his hands squeezed the fabric that was still trapped in his fist, ââI feel like something is wrong,â he tried to convey.
The nurse crossed her arms and raised a brow. ââŠDo you have chest pain?â
âN-No, notânot exactly pain. But it feels likeââ
âYou donât seem completely out of breath. How do I know youâre not just lying to skip school? This isnât a very convincing show, Kageyama.â
Mob wanted to scream. All of his fear and panic was boiling under his skin, strangling his heart, but no matter how hard he tried to show it, all he could do was speak semi-evenly. It sounded fake to his own ears.
ââIâve never felt like this before. This isnât normal. My heart feels like itâsâlike itâs trying really hard.â
The nurse exhaled a huff of air through her nose, before uncrossing her arms to shuffle some papers at her desk. âOh, KageyamaâŠâ
His heart dropped. âPlease believe me, Iââ
âI believe you,â she cut him off, speaking in the least-reassuring way possible. âBut what youâre experiencing isnât that serious. Itâs normal, even. Some people experience this during their entire lives, or with much more intensity. This little instance really isnât something to fuss about. Itâs just some measly anxiety. Maybe your current grades are finally starting to sink in?â
This is normal? He didnât feel normal. He felt like everything was crashing down around him, and nobody else could see it. Why couldnât she see it?
Mob wished he was capable of crying, screaming, anything to show how he was feelingâbut his body just wouldnât let him. âAreâare you sure? Thereâs nothing wrong?â was all he could say.

Pretty much everyone I know already got tagged so I am not gonna tag people, BUT: if you felt inspired by this, consider that being tagged.
I wonder if itâs going to become widespread/normal/tradition/courtesy for real artists to include time lapses of their creations anytime they post something in order to prove authenticity, since AI art probably wonât be able to accurately replicate that for a while.
Like, imagine a near-future where all art posts include a little time-lapse gif, as a virtual stamp of authenticity.
Regardless of AI horrors, that could be a cool and possible trend born out of it, I think.
Hello Cryan! I hope you're having a wonderful day, I started reading one of your fics on Friday and it was practically my addiction until today when I managed to finish it. Your fic "Ripped Out" is amazing, I'm not a fan of angst, but your story is very exciting! I feel like the characters are very attached to the canon and I love that someone dared to work with a dynamic between Giorno and Abbachio. Do you think you'll ever finish the fic?
ANYWAYS⊠I 100% think I will finish the fic one day. The planning is already written out and itâs fairly close to the end. Iâll just have to get sucked back into jojo. A little push like that and I think finishing it wouldnât be all that unlikely.
