End It On This || Andy and Crystal
Andrew took a sip of his own drink before placing it down on the nightstand beside him and wrapping his arms around his girlfriendâs small waist and bringing her even closer. It was so wonderful to have someone he could actually do this with finally. His friends were all affectionate, sure, but he never realized how much better it was when there was also more than platonic emotions involved. Funny, he always thought emotions screwed everything up but now he was enjoying them. He didnât want them to go away, didnât want her to go away.Â
He moved one of his hands up to gently pet her hair and continued to scroll through the options. He nodded then and smiled, glad she understood where he was coming from. He figured she would. She always did. With a sigh he dropped his gaze down towards her. âI dunno if you had anything specific in mind you wanted to watch?â he asked. Most of the horror section on Netflix heâd seen (he was a college student without a massive social life and a horror freak. Hello.) but he was a sucker for the stuff anyway. Â
Crystal's brows narrowed as she observed her options. In all honesty, Netflix was pretty limited, especially when it came to the horror section. All of the films weren't regarded as horror classics. There were a few special ones, but hardly. Most of them were just cheap films for a cheap scare. When she craved horror, books were a better option. Most of the time they were more descriptive and fulfilling than watching some cheesy ass film that no effort was put into. How difficult was it to make a movie, anyway. Most of the lack of pizazz from the horror section was due to the fact that Hollywood was losing it's creativity. Big movie blockbusters, worth the viewing experience, were difficult to come by. But that was just her over critical mind speaking.
"No, I didn't really have anything in mind," she answered and shifted closer to him when his arm wrapped around her waist. "I mean, you should know that I've already seen most of what Netflix has to offer. All of the good stuff, anyway. I don't know." The small blonde just shrugged her shoulders and took in a deep breath of air. She didn't feel like spending any time thinking about what she wanted to watch. It would be better just to have something in her face, no matter how terrible. So, not putting too much thought into it, she just said the first thing that came to mind, "Maybe we could watch Evil Dead?" she suggested, a hint of excitement in her voice. "The one from the eighties, though. Not the newest adaptation."
