Wow, that’s cool. Is it more your thing? Or is the yogurt place rubbish?
The yogurt place is fine, I just figure it'd be easier since I'm at the library a lot anyway.

The frozen yogurt place. Where do you work?
Same, actually! Though I'm thinking about maybe switching to the library.
Oh, I start work, this week. Hopefully, that helps me to get out a bit more.
Awesome! Where do you work?
Just make sure people know you’re sleeping and haven’t dropped off the face of the planet.
I try, I try. I'm Andrew by the way.
Exams are a bit crazy. I feel like that’s all that I do, honestly. I’ve hung out, a few times. Mainly, I just stay in my apartment.
My apartment, class, the library, and work are basically all where I live. What's a social life?
Happens to all of us.
Yeah, I just kind of forgot to talk to people during exams. And now that they're over I just wanna sleep for ages.
I’m okay. How are you?
Same, also burnt out from exams. I wish I could sleep for like a week.
Hi.
Hiiii. How're you doing?
I've kind of been an anti social hermit the past few days. I should probably. Actually talk to people, or something. Whoops.

Crystal’s brows narrowed as she observed her options. In all honesty, Netflix was pretty limited, especially when it came to the horror section. All of the films weren’t regarded as horror classics. There were a few special ones, but hardly. Most of them were just cheap films for a cheap scare. When she craved horror, books were a better option. Most of the time they were more descriptive and fulfilling than watching some cheesy ass film that no effort was put into. How difficult was it to make a movie, anyway. Most of the lack of pizazz from the horror section was due to the fact that Hollywood was losing it’s creativity. Big movie blockbusters, worth the viewing experience, were difficult to come by. But that was just her over critical mind speaking.
"No, I didn’t really have anything in mind," she answered and shifted closer to him when his arm wrapped around her waist. "I mean, you should know that I’ve already seen most of what Netflix has to offer. All of the good stuff, anyway. I don’t know." The small blonde just shrugged her shoulders and took in a deep breath of air. She didn’t feel like spending any time thinking about what she wanted to watch. It would be better just to have something in her face, no matter how terrible. So, not putting too much thought into it, she just said the first thing that came to mind, "Maybe we could watch Evil Dead?" she suggested, a hint of excitement in her voice. "The one from the eighties, though. Not the newest adaptation."
Andrew lit up and nodded, downing the rest of his first drink before turning towards the TV again and looking for her suggestion. "God, I haven't watched that in ages." he said with a grin. He knew he had that right on his computer so he got out of Netflix and looked down to ensure his computer was plugged in before going through it to find the film. Once he did he put it on full screen and went back to holding Crystal close, not intending to let go through the rest of it.
As it started, he interlaced their fingers and leaned back further to get more comfortable. He felt more relaxed than he had in ages and he was starting to regret dropping off the face of the Earth (he always ended up regretting it, but still did it anyway) since this was actually making him feel better. His knee certainly didn't appreciate his whole reckless streak anyway if the sharp pain shooting up every time he so much as shifted his leg was anything to go by. "You wanna smoke while we watch?" he asked, knowing that would probably help the pain.

Crystal placed her drink on the bedside table with a soft clunk. The blonde eyeballed it for a moment before deciding that she’d drink it later. It would be better when she settled in anyway. A sigh tumbled from her lips as she hooked her thumbs underneath the waist of her skinny jeans and pushed them down her pale legs. She found that laying in bed in clothes was a very uncomfortable thing to do. Whether she was doing homework in bed, eating ice cream in bed, sleeping, fucking, smoking or just plain chilling out, it was best to forgo pants. Crystal smiled shyly at her boyfriend as she wrapped her arms tightly around her own slender frame, hugging her oversized, cigarette burned, grungy sweatshirt closely. It was cold, despite living in California. Night time into the early morning it was cold enough to freeze anybody’s face off, but during the day it always seemed to be hot as hell.
She lay down in his bed, happy and content with their time already. After Andy took his place next to her, Crystal moved closer to her boyfriend and rested her head against his chest, her right arm draped loosely around his abdomen. “It’s okay. I understand where you’re coming from, Andy,” she nearly whispered, hazel eyes glued to the television screen as he flicked through options on Netflix. “I mean, if I were stressed, I’d probably forget everything else, too.” She tongued the corner of her mouth, wondering whether or not that was the correct thing to say. After all, she didn’t want to make him feel bad.
Andrew took a sip of his own drink before placing it down on the nightstand beside him and wrapping his arms around his girlfriend's small waist and bringing her even closer. It was so wonderful to have someone he could actually do this with finally. His friends were all affectionate, sure, but he never realized how much better it was when there was also more than platonic emotions involved. Funny, he always thought emotions screwed everything up but now he was enjoying them. He didn't want them to go away, didn't want her to go away.
He moved one of his hands up to gently pet her hair and continued to scroll through the options. He nodded then and smiled, glad she understood where he was coming from. He figured she would. She always did. With a sigh he dropped his gaze down towards her. "I dunno if you had anything specific in mind you wanted to watch?" he asked. Most of the horror section on Netflix he'd seen (he was a college student without a massive social life and a horror freak. Hello.) but he was a sucker for the stuff anyway.

"It’s okay. I mean," she trailed off for she was at a loss of words. It was difficult to pretend like it wasn’t a big deal, when it was. It felt like she had spent weeks alone, despite it being only a few lonesome days. Lonesome days in which she had spent most of her time glimpsing at her phone or hoping that she’d wake up in the middle of the night to hear a dull knock at her dormitory door. But none of that had happened. And until that morning, when she received his text, she wasn’t quite sure where they stood anymore. Perhaps she was destined to forever be a pessimistic bitch. It probably wasn’t Andy’s fault. More than likely he had been too busy with studies to find time for anything else. That wasn’t a problem that she never encountered, for lessons didn’t bother her. She did her homework, when time allowed, and she showed up for midterms. Classes came easily. Always had. So, trying to spare an argument or any hard feelings, she let his neglect roll off of her shoulders. It didn’t really matter anyway.
"I’m just glad to be here," Crystal breathed out and wrapped her arms tightly around Andy’s waist. It felt like it had been far too long since she had been this close to him. Pulling back slightly, the blonde softly smiled before ducking her head and nudging the bag which she had slung around one shoulder. "I brought drinks, and weed, of course," she told him and halfheartedly laughed at her own predictability.
Andrew knew it wasn't really okay and wished he could offer a better explanation, something more concrete but he wasn't even sure if he was completely out of his weird impulsive moodset yet. He just knew he needed to see her and needed to make sure they were okay, and maybe just fall asleep with her curled up on his bed or something.
He perked up at the mention of the drinks and the weed, kissing her cheek. "You are the absolute best." he said and led them both inside. The drinks he put out on the counter and poured them both one to start off with and then led her back to his room where he sat up against the headboard of his bed with her and started flipping through Netflix.
"I guess I kind of got lost in my own head." he finally settled on as he browsed through the horror section. He took a moment and looked at her, biting his lip. "I promise that only happens like. Once every few months. Or if I get really insanely stressed. And, you know, mid terms and stuff. I'm sorry." he said, hoping that would suffice.

She walked through the streets, hustling quicker with each step towards her destination. It had been too long since she had seen her boyfriend and it literally felt like she was growing weaker with each day passed. Every time she thought about him her chest tightened up, as if she were suffocating, her stomach churned of unease and she felt more depressed than usual. Was it normal? Was it normal to want somebody so badly that when they weren’t with you it physically hurt? Crystal gnawed at her lower lip, her throat swelling and eyes tearing up. She didn’t know what she was crying for. Maybe it was just her own emotional weakness. Lord, she needed to get a grip.
The blonde’s combat boots knocked loudly against the pavement, footsteps heavy, falling loud enough to disturb people’s dogs. She ducked her head as a whine of a bark howled from some apartment’s window. As she passed, Crystal looked back, her head turning as she moved forward, hoping she could catch a glimpse of the beast. Dogs amused her, whether they were barking their heads off, or licking your face didn’t matter. They were lovable animals. Even the more ornery ones.
As she came up on Andy’s apartment, she dusted her black skirt off and ran a hand through her hair. She debated, for a moment, spitting her gum out, and then thought better of it, rolled her eyes and raised a fist to the door and gave a swift knock. It took all of her energy not to give the doorknob a twist. She was anxious to see Andy, after all, but barging in just seemed rude after a moment or two of hesitation.
The two of them were supposed to be watching a movie. Which one? Well, she didn’t know. About a week ago, they had planned on watching Rocky Horror, days had escaped them and they forwent the movie when Halloween passed. Crystal had packed weed and a bottle half full of vodka, just in case the movie wasn’t entertaining enough or if they decided to play a drinking game.
Andrew was having a strange week. He hadn't meant to simply drop off the face of the Earth for a few days but mid terms took a toll on him. Hell, he ended up impulsively going to a local hardcore show in the area and dislocating his goddamn knee in the process. His head wasn't exactly the greatest place to be at the moment so he tried to stay out of it as much as possible.
He felt mostly bad for Crystal, though, for just up and shutting her out with no warning. It was most of the reason he suggested they have a movie night at his place. That and he did miss her during his random anti-social slump. Now that he was finally dragged out of it he could actually do something about that.
He quickly got up after hearing the knock on his door and glimpsed in the mirror quick to ensure he at least looked decent and walked over to let her in, ignoring the dull throb in his knee every time he took a step. He made a mental note to possibly get more Vicodin soon for it.
When he saw her, he couldn't help but grin widely and throw himself into her arms, holding her tightly and burrowing his face into her neck. He pulled away a tad, just enough to talk to her, after a moment. "Sorry I just kinda. Vanished for a few days there." he said with a nervous laugh.
I just don’t know what to do… There’s nothing to do around here.
I feel that. Now that I can breathe again after exams I'm not sure what to do.
