Get To Know My Tarot Deck
Recently my first tarot deck was delivered! I got the Mystic Mondays deck because I felt immediately connected to itās beautiful art. The first thing I did was cleanse the deck, itās been in contact with a lot of different people and has picked up foreign energies. I left a clear quartz crystal on the deck for a few hours, knocked three times, blew on it, then shuffled until I felt the deck was cleansed.
After that, I made a simpleĀ āget to know my tarot deckā spread and pulled cards I felt drawn to.

Recharge, rest, meditate, take time alone, silence, Iāve worked hard so I deserve a break
I found these meanings simply by reading through the guide book :) after I was done I repeated the cleansing process Iād used earlier.

Clear quartz crystal is a good crystal for general cleansing so itās perfect to just sit on top of the deck for a few hours. Knocking three times on the deck is quite literal in its meaning of knocking the negative energies out of the deck. Blowing on the deck uses the element of air in cleansing. Shuffling is the basic method and the most standard, used to remove traces of the last reading.

This is a pretty basic and short version, good for beginners who havenāt used tarot cards before, but there are heaps of spreads with up to 20 cards that can also be used!
