welcome to my blog!
if you know me irl please proceed no further. yes even if you know my ao3
No strong DNIs, just be kind to each other and to me and know that while I love the nature of Northern America and cultural elements associated with Americana, I hold nothing but hatred for the US government in any form it's ever held.
I welcome everyone to my blog but at the end of the day I'm a bisexual woman and what I write is originally intended for an audience of other queer women. But if you're not and you fuck with what I'm writing that's awesome! Hell yeah.

I write stuff on my ao3!
My most popular work is Dreams!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/64687912
Dreams is a slow burn lesbian romance set during a cross-country road trip in the 70s. Jane and Audrey Evans begin the trip as almost strangers, but will the hours spent together in Audrey's cramped sedan push them closer together? (Yes)
Dreams is my love letter to the time I've spent in rural America, and the beauty I find in the in-between moments it holds. Some portrayals of Northern America I drew from while writing were Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Bones and All, Preacher's Daughter, Life is Strange, Sufjan Stevens' Illinois and Michigan, and especially my time in rural Indiana and Southwestern Michigan.
If you end up liking Dreams, it also has a one-shot sequel that gives you a little bit more time with the girls once they've had more time to settle into who they are.

I think my best work to date is Inbred.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/72211181
Set in Ethel Cain's hometown of Shady Grove, Inbred is about the relationship between Isaac and Evelyn Finch and how it changes as the world closes in on them. It's about what if the worst thing in your life happened and you had to go to high school the morning after.
Each chapter is given an A, B, and C-side, the A-side corresponding to a track off Ethel Cain's Inbred EP, the B-side corresponding to an Ethel Cain track from a different album, and the C-side corresponding to a track by another artist. I put a lot of thought into these, and I think they do a good job of setting the tone of the chapters and giving extra meaning.
However, the work is accessible to those with no knowledge of Ethel Cain's music.
Inbred is very influenced by Bones and All, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the music of Ethel Cain (esp. Two Children in a Motel and Inbred), Jugface, Flower (2017), and Hellblade.
I've also done a Mama/Lockne fic for Death Stranding.

I will have more long-form works in the future!
I intend to do more F/F work.
Also I'm like the number one Camus fangirl so beware.
