Talking About Logo &Typeface of Teabox
Jen and her team, Pentagram worked closely with Teabox founder to develop the new identity for Teabox brand. The tea company located at Siliguri, Darjeeling and it’s all started by understanding the tea from all possible aspects. Given an opportunity to have an eye-opening visual experience to see how the tea is actually created and transported. Pentagram started to create and develop a custom made typography for “Teabox Stencil” typeface to deliver the traditional tea-crate aesthetically.
Custom made typeface called “Teabox Stencil” is use to deliver the traditional tea-crate for its logo and typography more aesthetically. To create a new identity brand with an authentic feeling of the typography, Pentagram present a contemporary mark by joining “T” and “B” letter to form a distinctive monogram icon, while anchoring it firmly in the history of the product.
Furthermore, a simplicity design also runs throughout the Teabox logo by make use the positive and negative space effectively to deliberate the new identity of its brand. Dealing with the proportion of typeface and monogram in relation to structure gives a color contrast. Furthermore, the nonlinear and stencil cut qualities of the icon are truly inspired by the tea production process that delivered with the luxury die cut detail finishes.
