“Rats with fur? Georgie, I think you’re blind. They don’t look like rats with fur at all, and they can be pretty good companions! Like, you can cuddle them when you feel sad, and listening to cats purr is the best thing ever!”
“everyone says that though — you gotta loosen up kiddo”
“Yeah, I’d rather not. I might end up hurting myself or you.”

“That’s what makes them so interesting though. That’s what I think, at least.”
“I’m really kicking myself for missing this dance, but then again my tree house was pretty good company. I still not sure if I feel right about all of this anymore.”
“Woah, wait. You have a tree house? How awesome is that?! What do you mean with ‘all of this’ though? I feel like I know what you’re talking about, but...”
“ oh, you hate chocolate? now, that’s interesting, everyone loves it – except for you and two or three more people, apparently, ” se raised an eyebrow, tilting her head with a small smile across her lips. “ what? of course not, why would i be sarcastic? you look nice – if i do say so myself. sometimes guys aren’t that interested in these sorts of things, so they look like shit. you don’t look like shit. i promise. ”
“Yeah, I actually do. Don’t know why you lot love it so much though,” he said and shrugged his shoulders with raised eyebrows, his lips curling into a smile. “Wow, thanks. I’ll believe you, I guess. You look gorgeous, by the way. Trying to impress someone?”
“ Do you really have such little faith in me ?? ”
She asked, as she mimicked his action, allowing her own eyes to take a quick trip around the world, even though it was more of a half eye roll than anything else.
“ — Wait until I get all of your money, because my nose will be perfectly fine. But I could totally rock one of those nose casts, right ?? ”
“I think so?” Kale said and held back the urge to roll his eyes again. He remembered that his mom told him that his eyes would get stuck in the back of his head if he’d keep up that eye roll thing, and he didn’t want to risk that. “Well, I only have like five bucks with me anyway... You’d look gorgeous with a nose cast.”
Dove instantly crossed her arms over her chest, once she noticed that the other male was laughing at her. It didn’t bother her, but she could act like it did.
“ Don’t laugh, rude. I like these heels, I just happen to have a little trouble with them. Besides, with the help of these bad boys, I’m almost your height now, so I guess as long as I don’t cause any permanent damage to myself, I’m good. ”
Kale couldn’t help but roll his eyes at that. He’d never understand why girls (and some boys) would wear heels voluntarily, they looked very uncomfortable. “But what if you cause some damage? I’m betting all the money I have with me that you’ll fall down and break your nose tonight.”
“And the best part of the night is? The drinks obviously!”
“Woah, you should calm down there or you might end up like one of those really embarrassing drunks.”
Students was arriving at their own pace, but Dove had been here for a while now. As she maneuvered around the crowds that had been forming, she smiled at the sight of a familiar face, immediately making her way up to them, tripping slightly over her own heels.
“ — Yeah, I’ve already managed to almost fall on my face three times now. Not too sure if this is worth it. ”
Kale let out a quiet laugh as he saw the girl tripping over her own heels, covering his mouth quickly and trying to quieten down. “Well, maybe you should have worn flat shoes. I’m sure that would make a lot of things easier. Don’t your feet hurt in those heels?”
“ so, are you having a good time? you need to try these chocolate biscuits and you’ll start to have one if you’re not having fun. those are delicious.” the girl asked as she turned around, smiling small at the person in front of her. “nice outfit.”
Kale eyed the girl in front of him and smiled shyly once she turned around, feeling himself getting a little bit nervous. “I guess so? I mean, yeah, it’s great. Like, awesome and all that but I hate chocolate, so no, thanks.” He scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. “You’re not being sarcastic right now, are you?”

“Hm... the poop emoji? I think it would look pretty cool on your forehead.”
‘ yes, exactly! call her beyonce then. i’m sure she’s just as fierce. ’
“That’s such a great idea! Wow, why didn’t I come up with that. I’ll put it on my list of possible names. Thanks, love.”
“—— Why don’t you give it back to the streets because that would be a more sensible idea because cats are fucking gross.”
“Excuse you, mister. Cats aren’t gross at all! They’re cute, tiny, fluffy, and independent. Pretty awesome if you ask me.”
❛ It’s a universal rule that any kitten that’s black and white has to be named Oreo so I guess there’s your name. It would be an injustice to name her anything else. ❜
“Your logic is great. You’ll be getting a sticker from me later for that name and a framed picture of my little kitten.”
‘ i always thought jolie was a pretty cute name. though, if you don’t like that, you could always name it some cliche cat name like snowball, or fluffypaws. ’
“Like Angelina Jolie? Fluffypaws sounds too cute, I want her name to be, like, something powerful ‘cause she’s an independent kitten.”
“What an amusing story. Please, tell it to me again.”
“Oh? Okay, so, a little kitten followed me yesterday and I’ve decided to keep it because she’s so cute and I’ve always wanted to be a parent! I’m just trying to come up with a name for her.”

“Thanks a lot! Well, she has black paws, otherwise she’s just... white everywhere! I was thinking about calling her Tinkerbell, but I don’t think that name suits her.”
