Always choose yourself.
“All relationships have one law: never make the one you love feel alone, especially when you’re there.”
— Unknown
“I have a million things to talk to you about. A million things we have to talk about. All I want in this world is you. I want to see you and talk. I want the two of us to begin everything from the beginning.”
— Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood
... But COVID happened. 😑
When will you stop pretending that you are fine with everything?
Are you really okay, self? 😐
Stop overthinking. 😑
Aegis Hero maintenance time. 😁 Replacing my mesh coil with a new one.
Done watching: The Yin-Yang Master
Just in time for Chinese New Year, this movie showcase a period fantasy drama about priests (not the priests that we know, aye!) tasked to protect the kingdom and the empress against the evil serpent. I love the characters, their backstories, the special effects, and the costume. It was amazingly done. 😍 I almost cried about 3x. Just almost. 😂
I know I'm not okay but I have to pretend for the sake of the people around me. I know I'm too much to handle and I'm just afraid people might give up on me again. I just really hope they'd understand.
Done watching: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel
What would you expect with people these days? One unexplainable video and they all thought that something supernatural happened to Elisa Lam, only to find out that the victim was suffering from being bipolar.
Done Reading: Pretty Little Wife by Darby Kane
Synopsis: Lila was Aaron's trophy wife. From being a lawyer, she was now stuck into being a supportive wife and sometimes showing houses to people while her husband enjoy the limelight of being the good teacher in a nearby high school. This was the case until she found a phone with scandalous videos of her husband and some students. She went on with her plan on killing Aaron with the hope of making it look like a suicide but that's where the twist and turn started. Aaron's body went missing. It did not really work towards her advantage as Ginny, the detective was on her heels all the time so sure that she killed her husband.
Review: The story was dragging. Clues are everywhere but it didn't get them anywhere or at least close until the last part when the true killer let his guard down. It was a little boring for my taste that it took me a month to finish a thriller novel.
Learning to love myself again. ❤️ Where to start? How to start?
