He dragged his tired self into the jeep, it wasn’t that he wasn’t excited to see Sophie it was more so the fact travelling always exhausted him. But with an energy drink in hand he began to make his way towards her house. Sophie had this bright, effervescent aura that within moments uplifted him. No matter how he needed her in his life, she was sunshine on a rainy day.

Parking on the curb he made his way to her front door, like a gentleman should, and waited for the blonde to answer him. A smile lighting up his face upon her standing there. “hey,” he greeted in return his voice a little croaky and low due to his stuffy nose. “Yeah i’m good, i’ll get over it in a few days,” he chuckled light heartedly. The curly haired singer gesturing to his car and allowing her to move first. Eddie opening her door for her before making his way to the drivers seat. “Alright ready to eat?”

Sophie noticed the stuffiness in his voice, she pouted slightly but ended up giggling, “aw you poor thing, you sound so cute,” she complimented, smiling at him. Nodding her head, she walked through her door and towards the passenger side, seeing him open the door for her, she thanked him before getting in and strapping in. “Sure am, let's go I’m hungry!” She exclaimed, looking over at him, watching him pull out of her driveway.

it had been a little while since eddie and sophie had spoken or hung out so sophie was super excited when she got a text from him earlier that evening. she had missed him, despite trying to make herself not feel anything for him, she couldn’t help but miss him when days went by without them speaking. hearing that he had been ill, she wished she could have been there to make him feel better because she had this huge need to make people feel better and that was incredibly predominant when it came to eddie.

getting off the couch, sophie went into her room to grab some clothes to wear. it was still quite cold despite it now going into spring so she decided with some jeans and a cropped hoodie, paired with her converse. the doorbell rang at the most perfect time, she quickly put on her shoes and hurried to her door, opening up to see eddie on the other side. “hey!” she smiled, cocking her head slightly to the side. “you feeling alright?” @vclx
