âWhiskey sounds perfect.â
âWell then whiskey it is,â she smiled, grabbing all she needed and pouring them a glass each.
âI doubt me telling you would help at all. I barely understand it as it is.â
âFair enough. Then how about we let some whiskey on the rocks do the talking instead?â
âFair enough.â
âWell if you want to talk about whatâs up, Iâm here to listen. Not like I have anything more interesting to do right now.â
âMaybe the fact that I killed people and tortured an innocent girl.â
âThat doesnât mean youâre a monster, Ky. You werenât yourself when you did those things. Youâre better than all this and you know it.â
âIâm a monster, Tess.â
âOf course youâre not,â Tessa said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. âWho the fuck told you otherwise?â she added, suddenly getting angry and protective.
âI was under the impression that me being in a bad mood was obvious.â
âOh it sure was-- but who am I to know thatâs not what youâre always like.â
i accidentally showed some weakness earlier today it was disgusting i would not recommend it.
âPlease leave me alone. I can apologise all I want but no one will believe it.â
(x)
âKyra? Whatâs going on?â Tessa asked, immediately putting her arm around her younger sister after noticing her state.
âI wonât apologize for being in a bad mood.â
âYou realize that you couldâve just said so? Because this entire time Iâve just been assuming youâre always like this.â
âDonât mention it,â Cedric responded with a huff. Looking at her, Cedrics expression furrowed in all corners of his face. A part of him, at hearing she was an original, was instantly afraid of her. Something about her being alive so long intimidated him. But he pushed that fear aside, focusing on the job that had to be done. âGo in there and distract them.â He advised her. âTrust me, go.âÂ
Finding it difficult to read his sudden change in expression, Tessa decided to shake it off and pick it up at a different time. Currently there were more important matters at hand. âWhatever you say, champ,â she said popping the âpâ and saluting him in a caricature-like manner. Without another word, Tessa used her speed to entered the room. Already having their attention, she proceeded to pretend as though her sudden had not happened as she talked to them in a slow and low tone. All intrigued, they cautiously listened to her as she began to explain a situation with the fuse box that was most likely a lie for Cedricâs benefit. Tessa wasnât sure how long she was meant to stall, yet she continued to blab on about the boiler room and how she couldnât quite work the fuses.
âWell since you asked so nicelyâŚâ she sneered sarcastically, turning away from him.
âGoodbye, sweetheart,â Milo waved, turning on his heel.
âOh thank god, at least someoneâs not boring.â
âNot gonna lie-- Iâm sort of offended by that. Iâm the least boring Grindelwald there is. Well, excluding the total psychopath of the family tree.â

âThanks,â Cedric whispered, as to not be heard. As Tessa killed the men Cedric kicked open room doors, making sure there was no one else in sight. As he turned the corner, he smirked softly at the bodies, unperturbed by the fact that they were dead. Though Cedric had compassionate for human life, knowing these men wanted to kill his people made him dismiss his feelings for them. As she spoke, a man with gun, loaded with a stake shot at Tessa. Not knowing she was an original, he assumed it would kill her. Putting his hand out, he stopped the stake before it could get to her, turning it around and using it to pierce through the mans heart. He clutched the stake, falling to the ground. Looking back at Tessa to make sure she was alright, Cedric continued quietly down the hall, looking for the room they were all hiding in. Coming across a large conference room with glass windows looking in, Cedric stepped back around the corner, looking at Tessa. âIâll go alone. They probably have plenty of those stakesâŚâÂ
A little shocked at both his quick reaction time and the fact that Cedric had been willing to grab the stake from the manâs hand and stab him with it. âThanks,â she whispered in a tone almost identical to the one Cedric had used previously. Unusually, Tessa was in a bit of shock at the close encounter. Although she couldnât die that easily, it had been a while since somebody had dared to point a stake at her. Regardless, Tessa followed Cedric closely and quietly until the approached a corner. While Cedric stepped around to check, Tessa used her sensitive hearing the noise from the conference room giving the impression of a full room. Cedric couldnât go alone in there. âNo, donât worry about it. Iâm an original-- it would be inconvenient if I got stabbed, but it wonât kill me. Besides, I want to help,â Tessa replied in a whisper.
âNever said I could. Iâm just not interested.â
âDid anyone ever tell you that youâre a total buzzkill? Because you so are.â
âIt is indeed, you havenât come to lecture me have you? Because I might just have to snap your neck.â
âLecture you? Oh no dear-- I more concerned with why you started without me.â
âSo, are you going to leave, because I need to lock up now.â
âWell since you asked so nicely...â she sneered sarcastically, turning away from him.
