`-- night out; shut in [doojoon + gayoon]
"Wae?", she hummed trying to look at the other’s expression though it was not that clear in the dark, "You think she’ll show up to you?", she had teasingly nudged the other’s arms -noticing the tiny hint of annoyance in the others voice. Something in her maybe just wanted to push his buttons though usually, it was the other way around. "Yah. She could be pretty though, and you might want to see her again", she chuckled low shuffling inside the warm jacket of the other.
"The what oppa?", of course she had heard it too, there was no other sound in the room aside from the soft ruffle of clothes, the constant fall of the rain, and the occasional thunder. Maybe she’s just used to ignoring those kind of stuff -but there is was again. It could be a rat, or the wind, but most importantly, it could be the person beside her, ”Yah oppa. Stop it. If you’re trying to scare me, I’m not, okay?”, she had whispered loudly eyeing their shadows reflected on the mirror with her alert up.
It was dark, so he half glared at her as his face was hidden by the darkness, "No she might show up to you! There's a bigger chance she'll mistake you for the good looking guy," he nods, another senseless logic seeming right in his head.He bit his bottom lip as his eyes began to try and look around the studios. He was a familiar with it, he's been stuck here for days and days but right now the whole place seemed, unfamiliar. "The ghost like that would only show up to Dongni and no one else in our group." That was more than enough of comfort for him, should what she's been saying was real.
There it went again, that sound, the scratching sound. "No! It wasn't me okay! I was the one who heard it first, if you're the one trying to scare me then stop it!"
scratch scratch scratch
He leaned in closer to her, his right hand moving to hold onto her arm gently. He'd go and look around if he could but he didn't want to leave her alone and it was way too dark to move. It would be better to stay still until the lights come back on, at least.
Really? [`she raises a brow in question] Can you prove it though? [`she finishes her patbungsu with a spoonful]
Hmm, well, you being you is enough proof. -nods, teasing more and then laughing; once done with laughing and all he finishes off his bowl of patbingsu as well-

[`she smiles softly and shakes her head] Babo..
Pfft. I'm no babo. Not unlike you. -he smiles and glances back and forth from his patbingsu then to her-

"Yah. Oppa", she scooted closer to the other until their arms touched, "Did you know there’s a lady ghost in here?", she actually didn’t know if it was true -or if it was made for a joke, but hugging her knees tight against the cold and looking at the other with a straight face she continued her short tale, -maybe she just wanted to try something. The situation has a good ambiance for a ghost story anyway. "They say she only shows up to good-looking guys."
"I'm not afraid of the dark. I'm big enough to not be, at least.." he muttered softly. He relaxed, even more when she sat even closer. He was smiling, partly glad that it was dark and she wouldn't really see and ask why or what he was smiling about only to have that smile fade with what she had said next. "Yah! Why're you telling that right now?" He said, half annoyed and trying to push away his own fear for stuff like that. Doojoon was never fond of horror movies, but nothing as bad as Dongwoon at least. The maknae would end up sleeping with the lights open if he watched a horror movie.
"You're just trying to freak me out," he muttered and just as if on cue, a feint scratching noise could be heard in the room. He was quiet about it, telling himself that it was merely just his imagination taking over and nothing more. But there it was again --
scratch, scratch, scratch
"Did you hear that?"
`-- night out; shut in [doojoon + gayoon]
She had curiously looked at the other at the sudden loss of weight on her shoulder -blinking unconsciously as she mentally guessed what he’s trying to do. Chuckling low as he had stretched on the floor, “Yah, are you going to sleep like that?”, she asked nudging the other’s leg softly with her shoe, “Hmm.. I need a bed, a blanket, and a pillow. Wae? Do you have that?”
Gayoon shook in her place as the lights flickered and then suddenly, everything turned pitch black. “O-oppa..”, she stuttered as she stood up. She wasn’t really scared of the dark but her alert was always up when something unusual happens. She followed the spark of lightning towards the window, careful not to step on the man splayed on the floor. “Oppa, I think it’s because of the storm, if this goes on maybe schedules might be suspended tomorrow.”
Looking back to the pitch dark room, her eyes still not adjusted to the dark, she chose to sit down leaning on the wall. “Well, that’s the least the good this weather should do.”
Doojoon could only laugh, shaking his head a bit at her request, he'd have told her to lay in his arms and make him her pillow, mattress and his warmth her blanket. Smiling at the thought, he continued his humming to Shadow until the the lights shut off and both were thrown into darkness. He sat up instantly, using his phone as a light as he watched her over at the window, pushing out the thoughts of a horror movie in his head with how her form grew only visible through the strike of lightning outside.
"Hmm. It's a possibility." Perhaps that would work in their favor though, schedule isn't usually cancelled except if it's flying off to another country. His eyes were on her when she sat down against the wall, lowering his phone from his face and just letting the darkness shroud over his face. The darkness was welcome, now he wouldn't be see staring at her but at the same time he wouldn't really see her face, not that he needed that. Her face was tattooed in his head.
Slowly, he moved to sit beside her again, keeping a good inch or so gap in between them. "I hope you're not afraid of the dark," he said, checking his phone again, for signal then setting it aside. He was itching to hold her hand or pull her close but he knew all too well. All he can do is just be this way with her unless she takes initiative, which of course he wasn't counting on at all.
[`rubs her cheek with the back of her hands as she recovers] I blame you still.. [`murmurs low] -and it’s actually your fault.
-he chuckles a bit and then smiles- If that's the case, mianhe.
You brought it on me. I blame you on everything. [`she continued to massage her head for the pain to go quickly]
Brought this on you? Of course not. -scoffs- You're the one who kept stuffing your mouth quickly with patbingsu. -shakes his head, reaching out to poke her cheek- You're hilarious.
[`wrinkles her nose] That’s right, laugh at somebody’s misfortune.. aish.. this guy.. [`pinches the bridge of her nose]
-watches her with amusement at the same time, just really enjoying how she looked at the moment- It's funny! I can't help it. You definitely jinxed yourself. So you can't blame me.
`-- night out; shut in [doojoon + gayoon]
Gayoon had to look at the other blankly, not quite sure what to answer. It was a joke, he was laughing. It was what she screamed to herself inside, though there’s something says that she wanted otherwise — Stop it, you’re not actually dying. “You’re acting like a drama queen.”, it was more to herself than anyone else, tightening the warm jacket around her body.
She tensed as she felt him on her shoulders, hoping that he didn’t actually felt how she froze in her place. The first thing that came on her mind was to push him away, -it was the normal reaction; but she would be really sorry if she did. He’s tired and he needs rest, she was the one who had said that loudly, and pushing him away would be really inconsiderate. She wanted to treat it as something a friend would do, she would to this to her girls -it should be something normal right? He was a close friend anyway. Chewing her inner lips nervously she had stared the other in their reflection, sighing softly as she realized that she had held her breath.
"-because you could get to rest for a while..", she smiled softly, it should be the only reason, -aside from the other reason she wanted to painfully deny. She muffled a yawn using the other’s jacket, resting her chin on her knees.
It was hopeless he thought, looking at their reflection in the mirror for a bit as he rested his head on her shoulder, they looked...good. The mirror seeming to show him what he wanted to see, him and her just sitting like this. Her looking comfortable, happy and just sitting in silence, maybe teasing a bit, laughing together. Just like those fairy tales. But then it only brought him back to the harsh truth that that wasn't the case at all. He pushed the thoughts away as he lifted his head off her shoulders, and moving to stretch out on the floor instead. Taking his phone he raised it above his face for signal again. Nothing just yet.
Humming softly, he folded one arm and rested his head on it as he lay on his side, his back facing her, randomly browsing through his phone while he hummed the tune of Shadow softly. Doojoon had started to hope that someone would come and open the door sooner or that he could magically send the message without any network service so the rest could get help and get them out. A contrast to how he train of thought had went but he thought that that was for the better.
"Tell me if you need anything," he said as he lifted his head a bit and looked at her through the mirror.
[`she continues to take a spoonfuls of shaved ice; choosing to rather have a self-induced brain freeze than to answer the question] Aigoo.. [`she presses a palm on her head, feeling the beginnings of a brain freeze]
-starts laughing hard when she gets the brain freeze- Babo.
oh, are you guys working on a new project already? (’ jaw falls slightly ajar; both in jealousy and surprise ) beast oppa’s never seem to stop working (’ laughs ) we’ll get more chances to work together soon, anyway! besides, you’re getting too old for uniforms (’ teases him back before slapping him on the arm soflty ) ah, why are you saying things like that! you’re so mean (’ frowns at him )
Well not exactly right now but that's where we're leading. What+ We look youthful enough for uniforms! -laughs more and grins- I'm not mean! It was an honest question. -reaches out to poke her cheeks, teasing-
[`blinks] What— It’s not like we’re not together now. [`takes in spoonful] -and I will not get a brain freeze. [`glares playfully]
So? Is it bad to want to spend more time with you that's just us?-chuckles a bit- It's not a secret you know. I'm sure you know. -he mutters- Don't jinx yourself. -smirks-

She had a point, yes, but wasn't she the one who was sitting around in the cold wearing something so thin? Ah, really what did he know. People do things with a reason, no matter how silly it was and he believed that. It wasn't any different with the way he found himself walking around with no destination. "Well yeah, moving about keeps you warm, I'm just enjoying time alone. Helps once in a while."
The squeeze to his hand had him looking at her with a smile. Company was always good, especially for someone like him who gets lonely too easily.
"Challenging me to a jumping contest? Well sure! But you better not get hurt!" He moved to take her drink from her, setting them down on a bench close by. When was the last time he had spent time with a girl really? He wasn't sure. Work had completely ruled his life as is. "Up we go!" Doojoon sat comfortably on one of the swings, waiting for her to do the same, hands holding onto the chains on either side and when she found her place he kicked off.
Higher. Higher. Higher.
A smile present on his face as he enjoyed the chilling breeze of winter, eyes looking up at the sky, seeing faint traces of stars then glancing over at the girl beside her.
"I won't go easy on you!" He calls out into the night as he tries to gain more leverage.
