I made this account in August of 2023 bc I miss mbav. It's my first time ever on tumblr and I have no idea what I'm doing. I really need to do more studying and write an essay on how Americanism is a genuine folk religion which reveres capital and the vague concept of "the free market" as a god of providence to be pleased in order to lead a prosperous life, also that the founding fathers are prophetic, perhaps even messianic figures who basically gave birth to this god through the revolutionary war, and that the vast majority of conservative Christians in America revere capital more than the god they claim to serve in an ironic sort of golden calf situation.

MBAV reboot: misinformation?

so I saw this on tiktok...

I was immediately skeptical, since there's been no actual news about it and it doesn't seem like anyone on mbavlr has caught wind and you guys are my #1 source on everything mbav related lol. if it's a fan series that's great and I'm super excited for it! but there's like no other info I can find aside from this post and this account. Another reason I don't think it's official is the username says "mbav," and if you don't know, the cast and crew and everyone behind the original show pretty much always abbreviated it as MBV. mbav is a fandom thing created to avoid confusion with my bloody valentine in online spaces.

also, i saw people in the comments saying "why are they rebooting it when they filmed the whole third season" which i KNOW is not true, and other people saying there's a leaked script for season 3 out there, which I'd never heard of before, but I have heard of alleged concepts for s3 floating around online but nothing that was ever confirmed to be real.

anyways mbavlr! have you guys heard anything about this? what are your thoughts?

THATS SM MISINFO. SEASON 3 WAS NEVER RECORDED?? Do they think that making a WHOLE SEASON is free??? Even if they had it, it would have been on netflix and streaming sites over the years.

I honestly just think this is a fan made project thats getting spread around. The logo looks so unoffical, we havent seen a single actor, and its so shady.

If this was an actual reboot their would be AT LEAST one press release about it. Hell, matthew knighte Unaired pilot for Teletoon/FreshTVs first live action show, Cartoon Gene, HAD A PRESS RELEASE!!! Anything offical would have the production company talking about it and releasing even basic info to news sites.

reading YJ 98 for the first time and cassie sandsmark feels very transfem to me? i haven't read her individual comics (yet) so i read up on her wiki and like her working with her mom and wonder woman as a kid and idolizing donna troy to the point of trying to look like her...consider her close relationship with Diana possibly helping her realize that she's a woman. plus her wanting to be her sidekick and be like donna so so bad but eventually finding her own way as wondergirl and as her own woman with the added layer of her being trans is interesting to me. idk food for thought

Israeli military evacuation orders have been issued multiple times throughout August 2025. These orders have forced tens of thousands of Palestinians to repeatedly relocate amid intensified military operations and severe humanitarian conditions.

We are now forced to evacuate from Gaza to the south and we need a lot of money to move our things.  We need 1000$ for the car and 1000$ for the rent of piece of land to put our tents on and we need another 1000$ to buy new tents that not preventing us from summer or winter.

Please guys do your best to share my story. We are here starving and dying slowly we need your help. Every 3 months they create a new thing to kill us or to make us suffering more and more.
