This is a summary of mostly personal headcanons , that looks into what Ashley does after Leon brings her back home. It a look into what comes after survival & dealing with the trauma inflicted. Learning to live with it , Ashley takes place as a senator & in the background works with organizations such as Terrasave providing assets required to aid those affected. her tasks range from project management, to insight inspections , providing reports.

this verse focuses on Ashley taking the agent route , it a rocky journey of self healing & wanting to make a change. she asks to be trained , and serves as backup for the DSO in field operations. Ashley is doubted about this at first , due to her father and what is public knowledge of her kidnapping.
however an incident where Ashley is bitten , proves that she is a valuable asset as she shows no symptoms ( this could be due to her already having being infected and cured of the las plagas , her system creating anti bodies to combat future infections. )

in which Ashley is looking for her brother , worried trying to escape the madness of whatever is happening to this town , her town ... these creatures that appear. unbeknownst to her , that a dark secret will reveal itself & some things are better left in the dark unknown as the only way is deeper into the town that she considers home.

a dance with death , one night can change it all. one night out with her friends was all it took for Ashley life to be turned fully around. when she witnessed the blood stained carpets , of what was her home. when the creature of the night ; took her loved one's life & nearly her own. a dance with death that she had survived , barely the wound on her hip healed yet the lasting scar a reminder of what she lost. when no one believed her , tear stained cheeks and the overwhelming scent of copper filling her lungs.
Ashley made a promise that night , to avenge & to prevent anyone else feeling the same lost she had that night , it wasn't easy but someone believed her eventually a hunter that taught her the tricks / the weakness of what she swore to hunt.
till present day Ashley travels with hints of locations for vampire activities provided by her mentor , while still trying to maintain some sense of normalcy in her life outside of it working at the local library under an alibi for her own self assurance of keeping her two worlds separated.

- ashley suffers from night terrors after , because of this she often will just not want to sleep rather aim for power naps throughout the day against better judgment. she would rather will go out on night outings to hunt more. this is a side thst rare to see , she will only show that exhaustion when she reaches that line or if she trusts someone.
- she prefers to detach her slayer activity with her normal life , keeping her private life as best of a secret as she can to not endanger anyone else.
- for the first couple of months Ashley strays from anyone who tries to get close , she doesn't want to lose anyone and if a hunt is ever the end of her ( which she has accepted the possibility of ) she does not want anyone to feel the lost that she did that night. the only exception even if Ashley denys it is her mentor , which she will never admit.
