Dusky. Do you ever think no matter what age you are, that fangirling is a weird thing to do? Sometimes I do. Looking at pictures of someone I have never or will ever meet. xox

hello :-) of course i do. i am sure we all do. but is it so weird, though? to immerse yourself in something or someone that makes you happy, inspires you? transports you away from pain or ennui or motivates you to change? to share in a community? i think that’s pretty awesome, actually. :-)

but yeah, sometimes my internal monologue goes something like:

“my base, intuitive and animalistic cerebral cortex would like to officially apologise to my frontal lobe for the constant primal ogling of benedict cumberbatch. and moreover would also like to thank frontal lobe for the intellectualisation and rationalisation of these base responses to help make me more socially acceptable”. :-)
