Nevervember day 25 Magical Mishap
@kourvo gives incredibly motivating advice for struggling artists. One of them was to draw your favourite characters. I tried to do just that.
I wonder if anyone here still remembers this cute moon elf from Obsidian’s Neverwinter Nights 2? He was my first RPG crush :)
When you are serving the city of Neverwinter, when you are the Knight Captain of Crossroad keep, when you have Luskan breathing down your neck, you need a REALLY good lawyer at your side. Sand, i’ve missed you!
Also tried to challenge myself and go out of my comfort zone with this doodle - one layer, one brush, one color. With this challenge i tag @schoute @greyhands @margotsu @cutieink and anyone else willing to give it a go!
All this talk of my favorite snarky elf reminded me of what I found while browsing the NWN2 dialog.tlk file (with the un-used character lines and cutscenes).
NOTE: Qara’s dad is named Desintis, and was said to be the one who fired Sand from the academy.
Sand, drily: "I'm certain this old woman was as charmed by your act as we are."
Shandra: "Well if it had been the Captain doing it, the cat would be lost, the tree burned down, and the old lady would be traveling with us now."
“Next time can we TALK to them!?”
Took Sand to West Harbor this playthrough and got this gem!
“Oh… gods. If he was touched with a pin, he would pop like a balloon.”
Sand’s magic
Sand and Grobnar, ah, don’t always see eye to eye. And not because of height differences.
“Why, of course! Although I prefer to call it ‘critical praise with just a bite of sarcasm’.”
