Genki are the excitable characters we love who sometimes use their smile and charms to hide past trauma. They are usually upbeat and cheerful

Flirts are exactly as they sound. These are flirty characters

My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! ~Pirates of the Disturbance~ review below:

I am a huge Hamefura fan. I follow the show, manga, light novels, etc. That said, you can't really play this game without reading or at least watching the first season of the show. It relies heavily on background knowledge and flashbacks. As a fan, I was completely in love with it at every moment. I love the characters, I love Katarina, and I love how silly things could get. I do wish there was a Maria end. Had that been added, I would've thought it was a 10/10 piece, its my only issue

The art is beautiful. All sprites, cgs, and chibis were so precious. I loved every outfit and scenario. My favorites were from Alan and Rozy's routes. They were so well done, its been several months and I'm still excited thinking about them

The writing is well done. It feels like each route is just a very long episode. Now, while I am Team Harem, this did push me towards Alan.. I just adored his storyline so much. I never get enough content from him so I am extremely happy.

There are two moments that weren't perfect for me, personally: Geordo and Silva's route. While Geordo didn't feel as though he had as much content as the other routes, Silva had so much information that I needed breaks just to sit with it. It was a bit overwhelming. Geordo.. I wish they'd done better for you..

Rozy and Silva's routes read more like regular otome routes where you get to know them over the story, while the og cast are more like additions to their past adventures. It was really nice to have that change towards the end (for me)

The gameplay is easy and fun!! I mean, you play as Katarina. You can't change her name or anything, which didn't bother me

I was pleasantly surprised at the addition of Rozy and Silva. I was a bit hesitant considering how much I love her original friend group. But now I can say.. I do love them just as much as the others. You see quite a lot of Sofia, Mary, and Maria, as well!! Hamefura is a great game for fans of of the show. I recommend it to anyone who loves the characters and the universe !!

Review for Him the Smile and Bloom below:

Him, the Smile & Bloom was a well written and realistic game based on relationships. It was enjoyable, with relatable issues and characters. The four different mcs made going into the next route feel less like a chore, and the lack of a common route made the game more enjoyable for me. I always find prologues and common routes to take the longest time for me to complete, and I often feel tired of playing by the end, I didn't feel that with this game. Each route took me about three hours. There were quite a lot of differences between each route so that I didn't feel bored. I will say that Hoku almost made me quit the game. I am very glad I stuck it ut as I loved Tenya, Gin, and Tori. But Hoku.. stay away from me. May that form of love never, ever find me.

The eng translation does have a few tiny mistakes, but it didn't bother me too much. I think it was still well written. The characters are great, even the side characters (except one, what an evil man, save Fuuka).

The art was beautiful. I loved every cg, every sprite, and every official piece of art that has come from this game. I love flowers, and the designs were done just so, so well. There was a lot of variety between Lis and mcs, whether it be looks or personalities. There was someone for everyone, which I enjoyed.

The gameplay was easy. Its easy to understand and play, though I did rather the Switch vs Steam. This is a personal preference as I rather be able to move about while playing.

My og ranking was Tori - Gin - Tenya - Hoku for Lis, Serina - Fuuka - Ami - Miku for mcs, and for couples Tori/Serina - Gin/Ami - Tenya/Miku - Fuuka/Hoku. My final ranking was Tori - Tenya - GIn - Hoku, Miku - Ami - Fuuka - Serina, and Miku/Tenya - Gin/Ami - Tori/Serina - Fuuka/Hoku. I think the mcs were the most surprising part of this game was the mcs. They were well written and either super likable or just not to me. Also.. how much I truly hate Hoku. I'd say, if you don't like him, keep playing. The others are so worth it, he was just strange (to me)!!

Overall, I enjoyed the game quite a lot. I think it was well made and definitely worth playing!

Review for The Crimson Flower that Divides: Lunar Coupling below, spoilers included:

Okay so.. bear with me. I do not think The Crimson Flower that Divides is a bad game, but it isn't one of my favorites. I feel quite neutral about it overall.

Gameplay was easy for me. I played the pc version, and could switch easily between my keyboard or controller. I did favor the controller as I found it easier to navigate.

The game deals with adult themes. There are quite a lot of heavy scenarios that the mc goes through. TW: assault, adultery, violence, death, rape, abuse, gosh, you name it, its probably here. I do not think that makes the game bad though. I do not mind mature themes as a player. My issues were.. different.

I did find some translation error that were pretty jarring at points. It didn't ruin the game, but I did have to do a double take at times.

The art was mediocre to me. While I did find some beautiful (Jigi's, Cef's, Esta's, Ruzi's) others fell quite flat (Suren, Touya, Nohl). I also found that Naala's portrayal left me wishing for.. something. She was gorgeous in Nohl's route. Absolutely stunning but in others.. my girl looked a bit strange proportionally, as did Suren. As far as sprites go, these aren't my favorites. Esta deserved better.. Justice for Esta's Sprite.

I'm not sure I can say much on the writing as the translation errors did stand out quite a lot to me. The story isn't awful, and at some points I was completely immersed and was loving it. It has high stakes, sweet moments, and a lot of heartbreak. But some characters were a bit of a pain to get through.

Suren's route was where I had quite a lot of issues with the writing and content. He was a better side character to me. Lets just leave it at that.

Uru is not a love interest. He is a child and has one ending that one can argue is not sexual in nature (but no one should argue about it or bring it up at all to me at least) but damn.. that ending still felt incredibly uncomfortable. It felt very unneeded and unwanted. Its something I don't think a player needs to finish, as its just so weird and adds nothing to the story. Seriously. nothing.

Voice actors did extremely well. I did enjoy their portrayals of each character.

TCFTD has good parts, and bad parts. It has content that doesn't shy away from mature themes, a cast of dark characters who can and do take pleasure in,, a lot, a good amount of story for the price, some very pretty art, and some very well written routes. But it also has some more negative aspects that made me cringe a bit. I would certainly not like to live in this universe. I don't regret playing!! Though I do not think I would willingly replay any time soon, if ever

Trying to knock out the 2 men kissing square on the bingotome with Stuck in a Yandere VN. I'm not super into BL but I find it cute and fun. I kinda understand the mc and what hes thinking/feeling pretty well

I'm playing Arcadia Fallen on the ps4. I just got to the point where I chose to romance Kaidan. I've been spending a bit of time on it, just playing the alchemy mini game. I really do love the voice actors, its been nice

I'm still on Harumi in Lover Pretend. Tbh? I find him to be like Sena from 9rip or John from Mistonia's Hope the Lost Delight. I like them. I like their characters. I'm just really bored with the route. That said, I'm still on Sena's route, too. I can't force myself to play but I do feel kinda guilty

Its not all bad though! I finished Esta from Crimson Flower and loved him. He was genuinely so sweet and his route so good

I finished Cef from Crimson Flower. Another great one!! He was definitely a surprise but such a welcome one

I finished Jigi from Crimson Flower. His route was way too short, though. I could've used at least 3 more chapters

I finished Touya from Crimson Flower.. uh yeah. Idk ig no comment?? I really rather the side characters to the main 3 in this game. I did like Nohl at least

I'm on Ruzi now but I think I'll give it a few days before continuing. I don't want to continue thinking about Touya and how messed up some things were with that Vow ending w Uru when I really enjoy Ruzi as a character and think he has a lot of promise

One of the reasons I do weekly updates is because it can be hard to see where I'm at. I feel like I'm failing quite often or not making progress. Being able to see it written out, I'm reminded that I'm moving forward, even if I feel stagnant. Its nice and really needed right now

I finished the Vow end with Uru and, while I understand that its not a romantic end for the mc, its still so uncomfortable.

Basically, the child servant has a huge crush on the mc. She views him almost as a mother would view her child. She finds him sweet and adorable, but she is incredibly in love with Touya. In this ending, Uru tells her he loves her (yes in that weird ass way) and asks to never leave her side. She accepts, telling him she'll never view him that way but she'll also never fire him or force him from his position as her most trusted servant.

And its fucking weird, ok? I'm not sure what kind of ending that was but it wasn't needed. Its a single ending. It adds nothing to the story.

Basically its what would've happened if mc had gotten hurt at the end of Touya's, so it doesn't even have anything to do with the other ends.

I just genuinely can't comprehend why it was included. Why was the ending not featuring his of age brother Mul? Why not another ending with an agent, like Sun?

I would've understood if she adopted him as her child. But the creators had him confess feelings? Uncomfortable. Gross. I hated it. I should've just done what I was told and let it play without reading it to get the 100% achievement

I've never regretted an ending more, if only because I just can't understand the intentions behind it. It was so unnecessary!!
