why are you writing from the point of view of a black character when you're white???

because he’s a character who happens to be black. that’s not all he is. he’s also a deejay, a self-proclaimed hipster, an avid reader, a marlboro golds addict, and an activist. more than half of the characters i play aren’t white. 6/12 muses on this blog and 7/7 on my sideblog are characters of color. i’m not using aav, i’m not promoting stereotypes, and i’m being inclusive. so what’s the problem? if there is something in particular, say something leilani says about her abuela that is not accurate to latinx culture, please please politely inform me. but asking me why i’m playing a moc has a simple answer: because i want to.
