[ Bed ]
[ Too tired. Need sleep. Night night <3 ]
curious-android has come for guidance.
Looking thoughtful for a moment or two, Curiosity nodded her head a moment later before looking back at the other. “How about I take you to GLaDOS’ chamber so you can get yourself fixed up, hm~?” She offered, folding her arms against her chest lightly and tipping her head to one side just so. “That’s where I go for maintenance— things have really changed since that lady first found us, you know..? I’m not even fully sure of just what happened; I’ve been trying to get someone to fill me in on the details for a bit. I was only reactivated a week ago, so…” She trailed off.
“So how about it? I can help you if you want??”
There were a few things it wanted to know, but those could wait. There was no pressing urge to ascertain the knowledge, so the sphere gave a larger nodding motion and rolled in closer. If the Central Core was still GLaDOS, then a firm ethical guideline was still necessary. However, Morality wasn’t completely certain of the welcome back. As far as it knew GLaDOS had loathed being attached to the personality cores. With a mental shift to the task a hand, it waited to be taken down from the rail by the android.
Reaching up, she carefully took hold of the core and pulled it away from the management rail with a little 'oof' before supporting the core in both arms. "Wow; you're kind of heavy. I guess it's good that I'm in this form then-- it makes things easier." She mused more to herself than the other, turning on her heels and heading down the hallway towards GLaDOS' chamber.
"So apparently since we were thrown into... there." A little shiver passed through her. "GLaDOS fell asleep and the whole facility shut down for a very, very long time... Then that lady from before came back and woke her up." She shrugged her shoulders and glanced down at the core. "Honestly, that's all I know, but I'm hoping to know more because the question of what exactly happened has been on my mind since I was fixed, and it's bothering me so much!" Huff.
curious-android has come for guidance.
It really was her! Morality lowered itself to Curiosity’s eye level as it shrugged and wiggled its handlebars. One was at an odd angle, suggesting that it had been broken in the fall, and the entire frame was covered with scratches and dark soot. At least Morality, like the android before her, had been built for durability under all circumstances. Even if a core was never placed inside an incinerator, the scientists of Aperture had made sure it could survive the ordeal.
“It’s good to see you.” The words were barely audible, but just as calm as ever. Morality had always been the least talkative of the cores, preferring simple data or emotions.
“It’s good to see you too!” Chirped the other in reply, peeking at the core and circling around it as if to inspect— then again, she hadn’t ever actually seen Morality up close, just spoken to her through lines of code or with her own voice. “Why weren’t you put into a body like me, though..?” She wondered aloud. “Did you not want one..? You’re kind of scratched-up, you don’t need any sort of repairs do you?” Then came the string of questions that had been piling up the second Curiosity had realized just whom had found her.
Not that it was a surprise~ She wouldn’t be the Curiosity Core if she didn’t throw out questions every which way about something that interested her.
Of course the Curiosity Core would want to know about everything, as well as ask questions it couldn’t answer without speaking. “I just reactivated. One handlebar doesn’t work right. Otherwise I’m fine.” The sphere’s words were terse as usual, yet not without a trace of happiness. Morality had assumed that the other three cores were gone, despite its own continued existence. However, it seemed that not only had at least one been recovered, but it had been powered on a while before its own discovery in the scrap metal by a cleaning bot. With a nod the dingy sphere glanced away.

The moment the sphere caught sight of the android it halted in place. Something seemed familiar about its jitteriness and the pale yellow optics. The optic widened to zoom in on it, then returned to normal as Morality zoomed nearer.
“…Where am I now..?”
Getting lost seemed to be one of Curiosity’s daily events— she never quite grasped just how monstrously huge the entire facility as a whole was, and so whenever she got the urge to go out exploring with the freedom her new body provided her, she always seemed to take the wrong turn somewhere and wind up lost. This marked at least the tenth time, but she didn’t exactly seem bothered by this in the least. After all, what if she found something new where she was, and…
Her thoughts trailed off as the sound of something quietly motoring along nearby caught her attention, and she glanced about, gold eyes trying to lock onto the source before they eventually caught sight of the source, and widened considerably at the realization of just what or whom was making such a noise.
“Ohmygoodness, Morality! Is that you?? You got out of that place without harm? Are you well?”

You heard it, Chell is really pissed off.
Now I keep visualizing this of the entire game..

[ Bed ;w; ]
[I must gooo... I'm super tired. I haven't been sleeping well lately because of stress and stuff, so I should try to sleep while things are moderately normal. Ish.]
"That was a lovely nap. I didn't dream about anything, though I don't think I ever have. Can we even dream? Humans are lucky that way I guess. I want to know what one is like." Yawn~
I spy a new curiousity blog following me~ Helloooo my little analytical adolescent… Welcome to my lair I’ll chuck a starter at you eventually, I’m just terribly lazy
Deadlyneurotoxin started following you!
"Oh! Hello there!" Curiosity gave a little wave and turned to the other, eyes darting about to scan the other as much as she could before settling on their face-- she didn't recognize the other, but there was no harm in a greeting, was there? "Who are you...? You seem rather familiar-- why is that?" She tipped her head. "Either way, I'm happy to have found someone new today!"
[ Oh. ]
[ I noticed I gained a lot of followers while I was away being dead because of IRL stuff. Hello! I'm alive I swear. ]
The Surface [Open Rp!]
It had been quite some time since Curiosity's initial repair had finally come to completion after such a very long period of nothing but waiting around for the machines to reactivate in a semi-conscious mind. It had hardly been a very pleasant experience to say the least-- not being able to shut off yet not being entirely online was a state in which the curiosity core never wished to experience ever again. She had never really faced fear before since her creation, yet the anxiousness that she had felt the entire time must have been something akin to that, she guessed.
Of course, the mumblings of curious thoughts that had appeared and left unanswered during that time certainly fueled that uncomfortable feeling. She was the curiosity core-- if she left her questions to pile up unanswered for too long then it would start to get to her indeed.
For now, though, she was enjoying her freedom.
[ Real life and computer troubles have caught me in a bind lately ;; I'm sorry I've been so vacant! ]
[ -Rolls off to sleep- ]
Following the dens and exploring herself had helped her find some food, so she could survive, but she didn’t write that down. This gynoid could tell Her about...
Who are you?: 99percenttenacity: Following the dens and exploring herself had helped…
Who are you?: 99percenttenacity: Who are you?: 99percenttenacity: Following the dens...
Agreeing, Chell nodded. It was certainly better to meet her when she didn't have to throw her into an incinerator. With a smile, and being as friendly as she could, Chell held out her hand for a handshake. She had seen that in some videos she saw when she was out. People shook hands when they met, instead of just staring eachother.
Curiosity stared at the offered hand with a slight tilt of her head for a moment or two before an idea came to her, and she reached out to take it in return. "This is one of those things you humans do, right? I saw the scientists doing this sometimes; I'm supposed to shake your hand and say 'nice to meet you', right..? Well that seems friendly enough!" She giggled, and carefully shook Chell's hand. "Nice to meet you!... Again!"
“Ah! Hello, Anger! I’m glad to have finally found you.” She chirped. “I already saw Logic earlier, and I was hoping to find you and Morality soon… How have you been..? I see you got fixed up too…” Well, this was certainly a relief; the repairs on Curiosity and fitting her into this new android form had only just finalized not too long ago, and she was already meeting a lot of familiar faces.
Heh. Yeah, this android body was activated only about a year ago. It’s pretty fucking nice to have arms and legs, you know? And now I can actually beat the shit out of people who piss me off. It’s great.
I’ve been… pretty fucking good. Had some ups and downs, but so does everyone at some point or another.
*Is a bit dismayed that Curiosity’s model managed to be taller than his was.*
How about you? How’ve you been? Find everything okay again?
She nodded at this. “I’ve been alright, and I’m glad to see you’re okay too. I was only put into this from a few days ago, so I’ve been trying to get used to it first. The facility has changed quite a bit since I was just in my core body, but it’s certainly nice to wander around freely and not be attached to Glados any longer, isn’t it?” She paused before suppressing a small shudder. “Honestly, I’m just glad to be out of that incinerator. Finally.”
At the mention of the “I” word, Anger gave a flinch of his own. It wasn’t a pleasant memory—his system refused to shut off the entire time.
“Yeah, no kidding.”
A hand ran through his thick, mangled, artificial hair.
“It’s nice roaming around and shi—stuff, but I didn’t mind being attached to the chassis. I’m still attached to GLaDOS wirelessly—she needs all the help she can get. These fucking test subjects… Uh, don’t run into them. If you see a human, just walk the other way. They’re all fucking lunatics.” He ranted on, giving a wave of the hand.
“Anyway, there are a lot of rooms left over from the subjects—that’s where Logic and I stay. You’re welcome to take one.”
"You know, I did see a human earlier today," Curiosity replied with a thoughtful expression, eyes darting about as she tried to recall the memory. "And she looked an awful lot like that lady from before, strangely enough... I didn't pay her any mind though, and she looked pretty focused on something else anyway." She trailed off and looked over her shoulder a little as if the aforementioned woman was standing nearby.
"Hmm..." She looked back. "Humans are...Lunatics..? Well I'll be certain to keep that in mind, then. I don't exactly want to get thrown down any more pits or anything." At his offer to stay in one of the rooms, however, her smile returned and she nodded her head excitedly. "Oh! And I would love to stay in one of the rooms-- I am certainly glad I ran into Logic and you today, or who knows how long I'd be wandering about all clueless. Thanks!"
