Currency Stamps

I have the "worlds largest collection of photographs of stamps on money" I find it fascinating and a great mystery as to why people would stamp currency, but they do. Any time I receive a bill with stamps on it, I photograph it. That is how I have built such a large collection. Thanks for looking and perhaps you will find some stamps in your wallet. It begins with a scavenger hunt where we visit demolition sites and collect building materials: fractions of concrete, asphalt, shards of glass, fragments of window frames, bits of plasterboard, plastic piping, and so on.

Floating Heart: This is a stamp I found very early on. In fact this was one of the first stamps that really sparked my love for currency stamps. I thought I would post this in honor of everyone who has had love float away on them. May new hearts be found for you to capture.

This is a favorite of mine. My name starts with an S and my wife's name starts with a D, so the fact that someone created a stamp that fits us so well is really cool to me.
