Maybe I should go back. The warehouse is as 'comfortable' as I remember it, brings back old and slightly painful memories.

Then again, it feels just like how things should have remained. Connections are risky as hell.

Angel stood still as she focused her power on the man’s arm. A white light engulfed the entire room. It slowly suppressed the genetic harm, as the veins stopped glowing green.

A few moments later, the light died down.

The celestial host was nowhere to be seen.

He shielded his eyes from the light, and before he knew it the woman was gone. For the first time that night he glanced at his arm, the marking still there in all its 'glory' but something felt different. He just didn't know what. "Strange lady.."

Shin left the area in a mild daze, forgetting to cover up his arm due to his current state. The discarded bandage on the ground being the only marker of what transpired.

“… then, unwrap you bandages,” she said.

Shin couldn't help but hesitate for a moment. He'd gotten so used to hiding it simply showing it off was uncomfortable. Despite that, he did as the woman said, focusing hard on not giving the arm a single glance.

She put her hands in her pockets. “Well, I could. But it’s just too dangerous for me right now. I know if someone from the Mishima Zaibatsu hears about who I am, I’ll surely die.” She lowers her head. “There’s still alot for me to live for you know?”

He sighed and nodded, giving the girl the benefit of the doubt, "You're right, it's better to stay safe than rush headfirst into some danger zone." His mind focused elsewhere for a moment, on what, he couldn't outright say.

He smiled slightly, "That's good to hear. At least."

He swung his arm back and out of view, not even wanting to give it a second glance, "Not sure, just some experimental mutant. I was hoping you could tell me that."

Shrugging, he heaved out a sigh, "Who knows, if you can maybe that'd be the end of it. Doubt it's that easy though."

The sonuvabitch ruined the family name, and killed countless people! Y’think he actually DESERVES to live after all that? Really?

Living with the things you did wrong is a pretty painful burden. Probably worse than death. You don't have to think about them when you're all stiff and lifeless but they're forever haunting you as you stay alive. 

Keep that in mind.
