my boyfriend dumped me. we didnt date for a long time but i felt so inexplicably close and safe with him that the loss feels enormous. i never thought my feelings for someone would ever be returned—that id be forced to always like or love on sided. but this was proof of something different. i really connected with him despite our age difference. he is very cute and charming and we like so many of the same things and i genuinely felt happy being around him. ultimately i needed more from him emotionally that he couldnt provide and so he broke it off. and while i cant resent him for that i am very sad and wanted a different outcome.
