owen trying to get carlos to stop calling him captain strand
bonus:
I’m not telling you why Carlos and I broke up Nancy. Why are you being so annoying about this? Why are you so obsessed about this? Because, I love you guys together, everyone loves you guys together. Also the mystery is killing me.
Sorry for my horrible activity, work was rough yesterday but I’m here to work on replies now!

TK STRAND ◇ 3.01 “The Big Chill”
early morning at dunn’s roadside diner
“You wouldn’t know anything about getting…ah…coffee stains out of paper, would you?” Ren asks. Before him sits a stack of documents that are, unfortunately, now soaking wet from a spilled coffee cup. ( Who, exactly, spilled the coffee cup? Well, that’s a secret Ren plans on taking to the grave ). He tries to free the corner of one page, but when it disintegrates before him, he drops any further attempts at freeing the pages from one another. “I mean…I’m sure my boss has backups saved to her computer,” He doubts Josie’s the type who would give him paperwork to catalogue and file otherwise, despite her distrust of the postal system, she had to keep backups for her backups somewhere. “…But I’d also hate to ask her. I mean, she trusted me with these for a really important case and I’d hate to say I ruined her notes because of coffee…Do you think any of these are salvageable?”
@salemstart
“I learned the way to get them out of clothes but paper, I am afraid that I don’t know that one.” Starr admitted before pulling her phone out of her pocket and giving the man a soft smile. As she listened to him, she tried to look up on Google and see if they mentioned anything about getting coffee out of paper without ruining the actual words and such. “I get that.” She replied as she looked back up at him. “You don’t want your boss to know that you are a clutz, I am the same way. If I mess something up, I try to figure it out first because I don’t want them to think I’m not capable.” Starr hummed.
“So, it looks like on Google that you need white vinegar and water. Something about dabbing it on there and then using paper towels for the moisture. I don’t know if that really would help but hey, sometimes Google doesn’t steer you wrong, right?” Starr looked at the papers in question and frowned. “I don’t know, my man, those are some nasty stains. You could just tell her you made it look nice? Like those cool parchments from Harry Potter?”

“What is your favorite thing about your character?” (x)
scout & open; at pedro’s pawn shop || @salemstart
— Held at knife point, she reached underneath the front counter to draw her own, personal weapon of choice. It wasn’t her coveted Smith & Wesson Model 19s, but something far more powerful: la chancla. Scout wasted no time in scolding the petty thief, giving her sandal a good shake in the robber’s direction. “What do you think this is, huh?” she said. “We only keep a hundred bucks in the register at a time. There’s literally a Citizens Bank next door you could’ve robbed.”
Scout whipped her sandal at the robber’s wrists. The knife flew out of his grasp, clattering at the feet of her would-be customer had her afternoon shift not devolved into a hold-up at Pedro’s. “I am not about to be stabbed with your mother’s nail file,” she warned. She slips off her other sandal, reels her arm back, and flung it towards the criminal’s face.
The robber panicked. His elbow drove down on the display counter’s glass. Shards plunk to the floor, a merry tinkling sound with the lightness of a spring rain. “Shit, he’s seen Die Hard,” she swore. Scout glanced at her customer who as of right now, had the upper hand.
Of course Starr would end up walking into a store when it was being robbed, she just hoped the robber didn’t turn around when she did open the door because she didn’t really have anything to protect herself or the other person. Starr walked into the store anyway and looked around and found the nearest thing that she could and hit the man in the head with it before frowning. “Did that work?” She asked the other, her voice calmer than it should be with a whole robbery going on. It wasn’t that she wasn’t scared, she was but she was trying to seem like she knew what she was doing. “Are you alright?”

Location: THE COFFIN CLUB, sometime in the night hours.
Luca was not one to go out and go to clubs or bars. He wasn’t much of a social person, but he was told by several people that getting out would be good for him. So, he decided to take their advice and he headed on down to the Coffin Club. He was told that that was the best LGBTQA+ club to go to and as a single, gay man, well he sure wanted to find a hot guy to at least dance with.
As he walked into the club, he was instantly hit with the heat from the building and the amount of people and almost walked out of the club before getting his nerve to take a step forward instead of taking a step backward and finally made it to the bar. Luca ordered a drink for himself before looking over and noticed that someone was sitting beside him and gave him a soft smile. “Hey!” He replied, trying to be polite more so then be that guy that sat at the bar and was being all broody.
