you would think that the first party argument would be about the severed head they decided to take with them. but no, it's about tying up (some would say arresting) (some would say kidnapping) a guy who stole plums.

enemy one: oneshot enemy two: parkour ran through the forest to get away enemy three: sloughed off his skin then got a little sleepy enemy four: full boner, engaged in combat

my players are fucking with me and this is the price of their hubris

first round of combat. only one person has dealt damage. all but one roll has been too low to hit. every save has succeeded. the enemy has rolled two nat ones. this is going great.
