Life hadn’t worked out quite the way Curren had planned it. But that’s the thing about life, it hardly ever does.

It was a close call, but option one is our winner! I actually wasn’t expecting this, I was certain that you all would want more Vatican themed shenanigans!

Anyway, this new arc will be more serious, and comprised mainly of long form posts. As always, I’ll do my best to be as in character as possible, but my take on Curren is pretty liberal at this point so I’m not going to be too strict about it.

During this arc, Curren won’t be responding to her phone or making any first person posts. All asks will be answered by me, the mod! (You can call me Apple, btw!)

I’m not entirely sure where the story will take me, but expect lots of writing and a whole new cast of characters!

Additionally, I’d like to shout out @ask-byzantinedream for inspiring this arc, as well as being my inspo for long form posts in general. (Sorry if I kinda stole your story idea. I didn’t mean too, it just felt like a natural progression for Curren’s character. I’ll do my best to keep it as different as possible!)

Curren Chan took a deep breath as she boarded the train. The carriage rattled beneath her as she squeezed her way through a throng of passengers.

She took her seat with a huff and turned out towards the window.

She wasn’t really sure where she was going. She had acted on impulse, failing to think of a suitable plan. She knew the others would come looking for her, but she was clever, and understood the art of disappearing.

With a hastily applied box of pink hair dye, colored contacts, a change of accessories and a fake ID she had pawned from Nakayama, she felt confident that no one would recognize her.

She sighed softly as the train left the station. She’d take it to the end of the line, at start anew wherever she ended up.

She ran her finger across the top of her ID card. Darling Minoru, it read. She was Curren Chan no longer.

Curren sobbed quietly as she packed her suitcase. She was glad the dorm was empty. She made a silent prayer that Ayabe wouldn’t return soon, lest her roommate see what she was up to and try to stop her.

She stuffed her clothes down as far as she could get them to go. She had always been an overpacker, but she knew her journey required her to travel light. She’d have to take only the essentials, but that was okay. After several months in the past, she’d learned how to live without makeup and essential oils.

She quickly wrote down a note, and placed it gently on her roommate’s pillow.

Dear Ayabe,

By the time you read this, I will already be gone.

I know I haven’t been back for long, and I was really looking forward to seeing you again, but I think it’s for the best that I go.

I..I can’t tell you where I’m going, exactly, but I promise you I’ll be safe. I’ve packed a change of clothes and enough money to get me by.

I can’t stay here. Not with the threat of Robby’s return. I’m sure she’ll come looking for me and I can’t put you all in danger because of me.

Please don’t try to contact me, I’ve left my phone in my nightstand so I won’t see any messages anyway.

I love you, and I’m sorry if I don’t say it enough. I hope to see you again someday.

As you all know, Vine Blossom and I have been stuck in the past for a while now! Several months, actually…

But as of today, the time machine is finally fixed! I’m coming home!!!! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ᗜ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾

I’ve missed everyone so much! And I have soooo many things to tell you! ♪

I’ve even brought back some gifts for you guys! I found something that’ll make a perfect wedding gift for Fuji and Opera (I’m sooo bummed I missed the wedding! ˙◠˙ ) and I have plenty of samples for Mai!!! ☆

And I can’t wait to introduce you all to Moe!

Unfortunately, things aren’t quite back to normal yet…
