Christmas present is Saitama! I'm almost done, nothing like the last minute to be honest 😂 but he's turning out great! I plan to have him finished today since I still have two more presents to go 😨 university really threw me off schedule but I'm so happy I can really get back into the crochet spirit lol! So far he's been really easy to do, he's all single crochet and sewing, it's all basic amigurumi though! I AM BACK I'm on break which means crocheting is in order to celebrate 🎉 ! What I'm doing now is making a Christmas gift 🎁 it's going to be related to anime I'm so excited! I won't say who I'm making yet, but the bald head here is a clue 😉 I'm super pumped I can't wait to see how it turns out, I will link the pattern and walk through the process of making it at the final product picture!

i’m thinking of knitting some wool stuff to send to standing rock, because holy shit does it get cold out there, and it looks like the protest will continue into the winter. i’m trying to decide what to make.

it looks like most knitting donations are hats, and i saw a facebook group that was making socks and mittens. i’m thinking of doing scarves, because they’re versatile. you can wrap them different ways depending on where you need warmth and how much. and i think a lot of knitters feel like “oh beginners will be making scarves so they’ll have too many” but i did some googling and didn’t see anyone talking about sending scarves. plus, how do you have too many.

on the other hand, wool socks are not a thing you can just go out and buy these days, and the difference they make when it’s really cold is amazing. hmm.

what do you think, knitting tumblr?

I think I would give myself a deadline to mail my knitted goods and then think about what I could make the most of between and then.

hm, good point. that’d definitely be scarves then, because if i do a simple stitch pattern like ribbing or seed stitch, i can go hella fast. and i can do MILES of mindless flat knitting while watching tv or reading, cuz i don’t have to look at my hands if i’m not shaping a heel or fingers or whatever.

I agree on the scarves, they are super versatile and knit up quick. That’s what I’m making to send up north. I’m making mine wider than I normally would to help increase the surface area. Maybe turn a few into scoodies with pockets at the ends? That way they’re a hat, a scarf and mitts of some sort all in one.

ok that’s a really cute idea, i can do that if i get bored with plain scarves after half a dozen or so. :D

and i have a whole lot of cascade 220 left over from sweaters, i can use it up making stripes. ok yeah, i think i’m decided on wide scarves. especially since, thinking about it – i’m in minnesota, i’m used to the same weather they’re dealing with, and the absolute most tiring thing in winter is how the cold, dry air hurts your sinuses and lungs. you can wrap a scarf so you’re breathing through it and so it’s covering your ears and it makes a huge difference.

Frozen cast officially done!.... Almost three months ago 😂 sorry I didn't get around to posting this photo until now but ur girl is now a freshman in college and the struggle has been kinda real, I have barely been crocheting at all which is kinda depressing but! I do have a side project that I will post about soon Back to Frozen though this is my greatest achievement so far I was so proud of the final product I love how everyone turned out they're all so precious!!! When I finally get around to another set I wanna make either Star Wars or those cutie princesses 💕💕 Thanks to everyone who has been following this little saga once again this kit is not my own I simply made the creations but some one else developed the patterns and such. Grand Pappy! I finished him a couple weeks ago but got too caught up in school to post 😂 He was pretty cute! Used little beads for his crystal necklace! He's second to last character I'm making in my little frozen series here ❤️ The last character I'll be making will be! -pause for dramatic effect- Marshmallow! He's going to be huge 😂

Jellyfish! I shall name him clear❤️ (points to anyone who gets the reference!) I finally got around to making the ever so popular crochet jellyfish! He's so cute I can't stand it! I made him with sugar and cream yarn, it nearly took and entire skein for his main color but barely anything or his second color. I'd say he's very easy to make, the pattern is very simple. The only thing is that he takes a lot of sewing but there's a detailed guide as to how to do that, complete with pictures! other than that I totally recommend this pattern! We continue on our frozen adventure! Last weekend I made Kristoff and Sven! Though unfortunately I didn't think to take a picture of them together before giving them away 😣 I really like how they turned out though! The doll pattern from this kit are just so freaking cute I'm always excited to try the next one! I will say however that these two were by far the hardest to make simply from the amount of detail that goes into them, it took me nearly two and half weeks to finish them both 😧 But alas the result was totally worth it! ❤️ Just remember to have patience if you try this kit out for yourself! Took a break from frozen for a few days to test out my own kind of doll! I think she turned out super cute 💕 I gave her a cute aqua dress and bright pink hair, I thought it would make a nice contrast? I also gave a new hair style a go, I usually just put each strand by itself but this time I cute out multiple strands the same length, tied in the middle then just sewed it into her head 😊 All and all I really love her! I need to pick out a name for her though...

So finished tiny Elsa and tiny Anna last week! There was a lot of squealing when ever I showed them off 😂 I like them but I think Anna's eyes might be a little too far apart and I wish I could have made her little pig tails longer but I ran out of yarn 😫 Other than that they're pretty sweet and size of my palm! Olaf is next! Then maybe the princes? Or perhaps Sven? Stay tuned....

❄️❄️Tiny Elsa done! ❄️❄ ️I so adore! I can’t wait to make Anna and have them pose together 💕 I used some pretty light weight yarn to make her body and dress but I used the heavier yarn for her hair because I think it looks better? Thank goodness I had enough left over, I’m really gonna have to hunt for that kind of yarn later on. But she’s really cute, I’ll work on Anna when the weekend is over ☺️
