Yanfei and traveler- Yanfei's birthday
In Liyue the morning sun rises over the horizon to Great the liyue people. You had gotten out of your bed early this morning after noticing it was Yanfei’s birthday. You got yourself ready after fixing up your bed. After making breakfast for you and Paimon your companion asked “ Why such in a rush?”
“ Today is Yanfei's birthday. I thought she would like to see us today” you perk up fixing your outfit one more time while cleaning up the mess you and paimon had made before leaving the teapot.
You walk around with paimon before spotting Yanfei and walk over with a big smile on your face.
“ Traveler! Didn’t expect to see you today! How are you both doing? Any legal cases?” She asks sitting you from the stone bench walking over to where both you and Paimon stand.
“ I heard it was your birthday and I thought you would enjoy some company for it!”
“ I would love that, though I am quite busy. Would you mind accompanying me to some errands I have to run?”
“ We don’t mind. Right paimon?”
“ Of course not! A birthday is a very special day!”
You chuckle at Paimons answer to which the three of you start to walk to where the client would be waiting.
“ So what’s it like Yanfei, being a legal advisor and all?” You smile at the woman To which she smiles back
“ It’s nice, it’s my career! I love the appraisal I get too!”
“ So where are we meeting this person?” Paimon speaks up
“ He should be around here” yanfei walks around with you and Paimon walking right behind. After a few minutes, the person appears walking over.
He and yanfei discuss legal actions having her book out if needed. Some time goes on with the two of them chatting before yanfei walks back “ This should be simple! After this, we can get lunch! I’ll make my special Crab Roe Tofu called “My Way”
Paimon ears perk up and she nods her head “ Sounds delicious!”
You and yanfei nod your head before continuing with the legal case. Everything went smoothly as planned. When lunch comes the traveler brought Yanfei and Paimon back to their teapot realm. The half Adpetus had started cooking “My Way” for all three of them. You watch contently enjoying their company. You know you had to get your sibling back but days like these are nice, just sit back and relax a bit. You reminisce on the time you spent with your twin, enjoying the time you both spend together traveling. Before you realize it Yanfei had everyone's meal setting them on the table. Everyone digs in and talks. One day at a time, you thought to yourself. One day you will see your sibling again, you will tell them about your adventure and the nice time you had with your friends.
After a while, everyone's finishes their food cleaning up after themselves.
“ So what are we gonna do for the rest of day?” You ask Yanfei to which she responses “ I want to stay here with you but I got work to do” she looks down being a bit disappointed
“ Are you able to do paperwork and be anywhere?”
“Yeah I guess so” you take Yanfei’s hand after she answers and you bring her outside and brings her to the edge of a cliff in your teapot
“ Sometimes I come in here and it helps me a lot to distress. Have it be the clouds, the water, the sun, whatever it may be. It helps me remember to take my time and enjoy every day to the fullest.”
Yanfei does her work to which you enjoy her company. When the night comes you see Yanfei put her book away
“ You know traveler, I enjoyed today. I think this is the best birthday I’ve had in a long time. If you are here next year, I would like to do the same thing”
You nod your head hugging yanfei having also enjoyed today. Hoping for many good days on your adventure.
