So still on semi-hiatus, Almost leaning towards full hiatus,
Elise’s muse has been comparatively weak, My muse for Lorenz/Mercedes at my dual muse has been pretty strong, And I’ve usually settled into doing school work on Elise’s days and that zaps my will to be productive.
Hopefully I can finally get back into being here every other week.
Zelia was sitting under a tree, and working away on a picture in one of her books. She wanted to get this drawing done, and was focusing on the picture. Raising her head she looked around trying to imagining the right look.
Elise was wandering about, trying to find something to spend her time when she spots Zeila. Curious! She wandered closer, tilting her head to catch a glimpse of the pages.
“What’cha got there? Drawing?” She asked.

Alpha Squad was ready to go at the word of the diplomat. He did one final check to make sure he was ready for the meeting. He had his holopad and some hologram disks to show off somethings if he needed. They followed behind Elise. The line behind Elise started with 197 then the first two members of Alpha squad, then the diplomat, and last the four members of Alpha Squad following behind.
The Squad escorting the diplomat looked forwards at all times. They never let their gaze wander even though they were probably in a safe place. This was a foreign nation they were dealing with and weren’t sure if this King Garon would betray them. The Spartan kept his head on a swivel however as he also had to protect the diplomat and Elise should something else happen.
They followed behind Elise quickly, making sure not to get split up.
The path to the throne room was quiet and uneventful. All servants seemed to have vanished or promptly ducked into room out of the procession’s way. Security has been increased slightly, More guards stationed in places of import. Most were professionally stoned face , though a couple younger recruits had vague annoyance on their faces for needing to take their posts so promptly. Without the usual bustle the already ill populated halls felt even more eerie than usual to Elise.
Once at the throne room, the guards on duty gave a sweeping glance over before opening the doors wide for them all. The Throne room looked the same as usual, perhaps with additional pair of guards in the flanks, but Iago and Garon remained in their usual spots. The doors closed, Garon gestured for Iago to begin. He started with a standard and polite welcome and introduction, beginning the proceedings. Elise was barely listening, but stood and waited at attention in case father called on her to respond.

“That too. Even if it’s just patching people up I have to do my best so this war can be over sooner!” Even if it means the other people may have to go through exactly what Marie said… Elise frowns, quickly shaking away the thought. That’s war, even if she hates it…
“Huh?” Elise returned promptly to reality. Wait she was gonna join the army, just like that? Not even any convincing from Corrin? “You’re gonna help us? Oh wow, You mean I can learn to just do magic without aids too, easy-peasy?! That’s amazing! We can use all the help we can get!”
Learning to cast magic so easily So exciting! And another recruit to talk to and become a friend to sounded fun!
Marie nods. “Yep. So just take me to your leader and lets get this enrollment done quick. We can begin training whenever you feel ready once I’m in your Kingdom’s army. Hmm…now I need to give you a nickname. I give everyone I’m friends with one.” she eyes Elise carefully, from top to bottom. “How about…” a small frown etches her lips, staring at Elise intently. “Ah~” she snaps her fingers “Troubadour.”
A nickname? How exciting! She never got a proper nickname before! Her excitement waned slightly when the nickname in question was just her descriptor, but hey it was the thought that counts!
“Troubadour? Oh like what I am!” Elise smiled, bouncing on her heal a moment before recalling their next task. Gotta introduce her to her sibling! “Anyways, I’ll lead you to Corrin! I bet she’d love to have the help.” And with that Elise begins to lead the way.

Yu was by himself in the training area, swinging the Yato blade. The mythical blade slicing through the air, a tight look on his face. At the moment, his mood was rather sour. Camilla had once again tried bothering him, trying to act like ‘before’. Like only a few weeks ago she hadn’t tried to cleave him in half with her axe. He still stood by his choice to spare her, but he wished she’d stop pretending like nothing happened. After a few more moments, the blond-haired youth sat on the ground, catching his breath. So lost in his thoughts he didn’t notice someone approach.

Elise would have to be blind to not notice the tension and coldness from her older adopted sibling, even if it wasn’t directed at her. It was upsetting to see such a change in her family’s dynamic.
But where to start...? The source perhaps. Maybe the war was really starting the weigh on her brother’s mind? She can’t say she can blame him for being crabby with all of that.

Tough still a bit unsure of how the rest of the royal family would react to him; he chooce to trust in the little princess enthusiasm. So slowly following her steps downhill, he stood back just in case she slips so he could be able to catch and help her.
“ So, about your family, can you tell me a bit about them while we head towards your home ? I’d like to know how to leave a good first impression on them ”
“You think so? Thanks.” She beamed, pleased with the praise. She hoped to be just as handy as he said she would be!
“Yup yup! Well it’s also to just show you the town, but we gotta introduce you to my family too. There’s lot’sa do in town!”
She’s sure with her there to speak on his behalf and assure them he means no ill, he’s sure they will accept him. Or at the minimum humor him and act politely for her sake. They were good people so the former seemed the most likely to her!
She walked down with ease, waiting at the foot of the hill for him to follow suite. Phew, flat land definitely easier.

“It was very pleasant. I must admit however I was very curious when I got the assignment on my desk. It’s not every day that we get people from undiscovered planets appear on our colonies.” The diplomat joked.
He looked around to see that the guards looked very uncomfortable. The diplomat thought nothing of it. His group did come from the sky and given what was learned, they didn’t have the same technology as the UEG had. The marines however became a little more on guard after seeing the Nohrian guards uncomfortable.
“I’m sure we can come to some arrangement with your father Princess Elise. We will be out before he knows it.” The diplomat said trying to reassure the princess.
“Hehehe, I bet! I’m just that cool I guess.” Elise grinned. The whole other people other planets thing was still a bit hard to wrap her head around, and she hasn’t quite had to free time to. But neither the less meeting new people was always good. She’ll just have to boggle her mind later.
“Good! This’ll go great than!” Well probably too soon to be sure, but Elise will accept the reassurance in any case. “Are you guys ready? I’ll lead the way to the throne room.” After waiting for them to prepare, Elise turned back and started leading the way, paused by a guard at the entrance asking if she would like further accompaniment (implying she perhaps should, with the guests so armed). However Elise declined and the guard remained where he was. Onwards!

Maybe train you in magic usage without a staff…or cast more spells. You’re obviously not much of an offensive unit, but having something to defend yourself is better than nothing, right?”
