Awww..it’s so tiny. He never really cared for cats in the first place, but he is a little flattered that the boss would do that. It’s kinda cute.. Orca just nodded timidly to acknowledge the little feline. Guess that’s another cat added to his giant red bed.
“Isn’t he adorable? Do you wanna hold him? I bet you do!”

He’s the first friend I’ve ever had outside of my… erm… parents.” The reindeer was happy to boast of his friends and how overjoyed having them around made him, but her words made him someone curious about her own friends. Maybe he could meet them later.
“Well, let’s get going then! Though you mentioned you were looking for a friend earlier. Do you still need help finding them?”

Chopper glanced aside with a nervous smile. Best not to take away that sense of security, but he’d met Emperors and Warlords that scared him far more than any giant ever would. “Nngh… yeah! You’re right, Diane! If anything, those traffickers should be scared of you!”
“Of course they should! Not to mention my captain! He’d never let anything bad happen to me! That’s why I love him so much!”

Chopper frowned at the woman, feeling bad for putting her on edge after having not seen her in such a long time. “Hey… you shouldn’t get angry, Diane! I promise not to let any human traffickers capture you or any of my friends!” The reindeer assured her, his eyes quivering in a concerned manner as he remembered almost losing his mermaid friend to such monsters.
“Huh? Oh, I’m not worried about that. Like a human could ever hope to defeat a giant on the defensive! And even if I wasn’t a giant, you forget I’m one of Seven Deadly Sins! The strongest group of Holy Knights ever!”

“Haha! I guess you’re not like the giants of Elbaf at all! Your people sound boring!” He happily laughed off the differences between her village and what his crew had encountered before remembering something serious. “Right… That might be a good idea. Giants are often targeted by slave traders… Those bastards…”
“What?” Diane stopped, her temper bristling upon hearing that. “What kind of giants would let themselves be caught and used by humans? But if these giants you’re used to trust humans, then....” She could remember when humans would capture and rip the wings off of fairies to sell them, killing massive amounts of fairies. King had told her it had happened to his friend who was interested in humans and wanted to trust them. With a sigh, she mumbled, “It’s not their fault that those bastards betrayed their trust.”

“No! Most of us are human. I’m the only thing like me in the world.” Chopper admitted without the slightest hint of hesitation. The thought of humans being afraid of her almost made him have to hold back a giggle. “You’re not scary. Don’t worry. We’ve already met tons of giants. You’re not so special.”
“Tons of giants? That’s weird. I mean, I know there are lots of giants. Whole villages of them. But they usually don’t come out of their villages or interact with humans at all. I was seen as weird when I left my home to explore.”

“You’re one of the nicest giants I’ve ever met! I wanted my crew to meet you!” Chopper admitted, hoping she wasn’t too busy to meet all of his friends.
“Aww, you’re sweet, too, Chopper! I’d be up for meeting your friends. Are they are like you?” If she was being honest, she wasn’t too sure what Chopper was. But he wasn’t human, and certainly nicer than most humans, so maybe his friends wouldn’t be either. “Humans tend to be afraid of me, unfortunately.”

Chopper stared at his friend for several seconds, taking a small step backward to observe her face for the first time in years. “You’ve been gone for so long. I thought you forgot me!”
“Of course not! You’re my friend!”
“Sorry that I’ve been gone. I’ve been with the Sins on world saving missions! You know, the usual!”

The froggy hero never failed to amaze. Such strength in spite of her size, carrying quickly, so effortlessly it seemed. He let out a laugh at her words, holding onto her shoulder. “Well, I’m not gonna say no to that! We’ll make a great team for sure!”
“Our team name is Team Friendship, and we get to design our flag,” she informed him as they arrived at the dorms. “Then we have to recruit others from the hero course until we have 10 members. My plan is to swallow the flag because if I swallow it, I can still spit it back up. So, it’s still retrievable and therefore not breaking any rules.”
